Oriental Beauty
Oriental Beauty, also known as Dong Fang Mei Ren or Baihao Oolong, is a unique type of Oolong tea that originates from Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It is often referred to as "Champagne Oolong" due to its distinctive fruity flavor. This tea stands out because it is harvested in the summer, when tiny little green leafhoppers bite the leaves and stimulate the plant to produce a sweet, nectar-like characteristic. The process of making Oriental Beauty tea involves several steps including withering, stirring, fermenting, and baking. The high degree of fermentation, around 60-70%, brings out a rich complexity in the tea's flavor. The liquor of this tea often presents a beautiful amber color with sweet and muscatel bouquet. A proper brew of Oriental Beauty can bring forth a multi-layered taste, with notes ranging from ripe fruits to honey, often leaving a lasting aftertaste that is refreshing and comforting.

On my balcony today, the sun brewed a milky oolong. I've had this package for a while; I received it a few years ago as a birthday gift along with other teas, I took out the remaining portion now. I remember not enjoying it as much back then, but I might have spoiled its preparation because I could taste some bitter notes. This time I prepared it with greater care, and behold, the creamy milk flavors and complex fruity aromas emerged. The taste reminded me of raspberry, very sweet. It's an easily drinkable and approachable tea that I would gladly recommend to beginners. Those who have had more tea experiences will also find some tricky nuances in it.On my balcony today, the sun brewed a milky oolong tea. Iron Goddess of Mercy
A high mountain tea on the mountain! What a harmony and freedom is captured in this tea, just like the bridge that was visible from Gell茅rt Hill. The creamy aftertaste surprised me the most in this oolong, which has huge leaves rolled up together. It is a balanced, airy, yet full-bodied tea. It's worth mentioning that high mountain teas are known for their complex and delicate flavors, due to the specific environmental conditions in which they are grown. These conditions include high altitude, cooler temperatures, and often misty or foggy weather, all of which result in slower growth and development of the tea leaves, leading to a more nuanced flavor profile.

Golden Steed Eyebrow
It was a rainy day with golden sunshine as I walked along V谩ci street after a long day at work. Not only the sunshine, but my tea today was also golden. The Golden steed eyebrow is a summer harvested and heavily fermented tea from the Wuyi mountains. The cloudy infusion has the luscious aroma of autumn leaves along with mellow dark cocoa notes. What surprised me was that I discovered a lot of citrusy and ros茅-like flavors in it.
