So it seems like she overheard people talking about valentines gifts while shopping for groceries, and completely decided to take it the wrong way.

Hartgen? Seaside ports? Wars? While wars wasn't anything new to her from the past and she sort of knew what a port was... A city called Hartgen completely eluded her thoughts. Besides! There hadn't been any wars recently had there? Not where she'd come from.

"I'm lost!" The penny dropped and her expression freaked out. "Battle tournament!? Is this the past!? What about rice crackers!? Do they still exist!?"

 She hopped over the rock, slowly approaching the small girl. “You’re one a beach that connects to a road that should take you to Hartgen,” Akari explained while pointing in one direction. “However, if you go the other direction it will take you to a seaside town with many ports. I’m unaware of the name, but a man named Clay Morgan holds great influence in that region.” What a pity that she had never learned of the town where she first spotted the sea, but it did not matter. Helping out a girl with some advice seemed more important than such a useless thought.

 She crossed her arms while starting at the young girl, rustling her cloak a bit. “I suggest you move carefully. Hartgen holds a lot of hostility currently due to an upcoming battle tournament, and if you upset Morgan you’re bound to get into trouble. It seems like even after a war one needs to fight in order to survive.”

"Anyone who offers me rice crackers is a special person indeed!" Rapid nodding. Even if she'd somewhat figured out the whole special person thing, the moment someone brought up rice crackers all other general logic went out the window. If it was her favorite food, she'd be there all over it. Even better if it wasn't coming out of her own small allowance.

|| ◈ || He nodded his head at the ‘someone special’ part so that she knew she was correct. Ness smiled happily at her cuteness▬ Did she really not know what a Valentine was? Well, regardless, if she was really this clueless about it, Ness was happy to explain and make a new friend while he was at it. "Rice crackers?" The capped boy blinked before starting to laugh at her words. She certainly knew how to cheer people up. 

"Yeah, I suppose buying someone rice crackers could be sweet and special if the two are serious about it! Why? Ya want some rice crackers? I can get ya some." He offered happily.

"I'm hungry but its 4am... Maybe the convenience store is still open.." Cue a young looking girl groggily slipping on her shoes and heading outside in the middle of the night.

"Someone special?" Her head tilted to one side, she recited what she'd been told. Special person.. Huh.. Did she have someone like that? Or- Did she deserve someone like that?

Suddenly Fear shook her head rapidly, dispelling the dark thoughts that had started to emerge. "Like someone who buys rice crackers!?"

...Close enough.

|| ◈ || Ness laughed softly at the girls cute question. Her look of confusion added to her sweetness as well causing the boy to not be able to hold back his smile. “Actually, Valentine is a special someone. Or I suppose they could be cards or gifts from someone special /to/ someone special. If that makes sense.” The explanation wasn’t as good as he’d liked, but hopefully it was enough to help her understand what the day was all about.

Your muse has just received a new computer as a gift from a friend. While poking around on it, they find an odd file. Send me an 'Open File', and my muse will greet you, as the A.I. of your new system.

Nothing.. Nothing! She didn't recognize anything. Panic was quickly setting in, as much as she hated that feeling she couldn't feel anything else at that present moment. Then from somewhere she caught hearing of a person moving.

Hand shot to her waist level, searching for that cubed toy she always kept with her. No way... That was gone too? Lost to the ocean? As if things couldn't get any worse.

Yet focusing herself for a moment she managed to pinpoint where the sound of another was coming from. They didn't seem to be hostile, but who knew.

"Um.. Do you know where this is?"

 Akari’s head popped up from behind a rock. She had spent the earlier half of the day collecting edible sea creatures for dinner, when her eyes landed upon what looked like a girl. She pulled herself up onto the rock, watching the girl walk around.

 ”Hey, you okay?” She called out.

"I know what I mean!" Good job she did, who knew what would happen if other people weren't so... understanding.

Though thinking on it, what the girl had said next was true. There were still so many human customs and such she needed to get used too. But it didn't change the fact this girl could tell she wasn't a 'normal' human, as well as trespassing!

"Of course I am! It's my house! I just... Just left my rice crackers here and needed them for lunch!"

"House… sneaker" she said slowly. "You mean thief right?" Eva’s eyebrows raised at the guess. "You should really be careful about what you say after all you can’t take back words" she idly kicked her foot. "Anything besides normal humans have a strange smells, but yours is tolerable" she propped her head up. "Are you here on your own?"
