Tabitha crossed his arms and looked into the darkness, facing away from the man’s flashlight. Oh, he could make the situation much worse if he wanted to. This guy seemed to be asking for it. Even if this guy thought that the situation couldn’t get any worse, Tabitha knew that it could. In fact, he had been in worse situations. He was very tempted to grin to himself and “accidentally” slam his fist into a wall of crumbled rock just to show this man that the situation could definitely get worse. Then he would laugh about it.
But then they would run out of oxygen and likely die. Tabitha frowned. He didn’t really want that.
While his face was turned, Tabitha mouthed “Gliscor is no danger to the caves” in a mocking fashion. Any Pokemon could be dangerous anywhere. Even the most harmless Magikarp was dangerous. He could recall many times that his grunts had been injured by Magikarp. Embarrassing, yes, but lesson learned. Tabitha was beginning to feel safer around this guy as his doubt about his authority over him grew. If Gliscor couldn’t cause an earthquake, then it must be quite a weak Pokemon. Going back to the Magikarp point, he had seen Magikarp with tails powerful enough to crush rock. Tabitha was beginning to drift off from the main point. Magikarp were strong, yes, but... wasn’t his first rebuttal more about the physical weakness of the grunts than of the strength of the Magikarp?
Well, back to the cause of the ‘quake. What could it have been, then? It certainly wasn’t his Crobat, and it certainly wasn’t him... An outside force, maybe? A Camerupt, possibly? A Numel gone rogue?
Well, this guy could search for an exit all he wanted. Tabitha knew this area pretty well, and if there wasn’t an exit on the other side, there probably wasn’t an exit at all. At that point Tabitha decided that he would have to start punching.
“Have fun.” he called, rubbing the short fur behind Crobat’s ears. He walked away from the flashlight’s beam and to the nearest blockage. Turning to the Crobat perched on his shoulder, he snorted. Crobat snorted back. They made a pretty good team, didn’t they?
“Crobat.” Tabitha lifted the enormous bat off of his shoulder and sat down. He was lucky that the Pokemon didn’t weigh as much as he looked. Sure, Crobat was heavy, but he definitely wasn’t the heaviest thing the Magma Admin had ever lifted.
“Search this wall for weaknesses starting at the top. I’ll start down here and work my way up. Got it?” Tabitha looked into the Crobat’s big eyes. Crobat twitched his ears and made a quick clicking noise before silently fluttering up to the top of the blockage. Meanwhile, Tabitha made himself busy checking the lower section of the rock wall for any loose rocks. Sure, there were a few, but if he removed any of them there would be a bigger collapse. Every now and then he would check on his Crobat, with the big Pokemon giving no positive replies. If there was something to report on, he would have swooped down to make sure Tabitha knew this was urgent.
After Tabitha reached a section of the wall that he would need to stand up to feel, he decided to ask the man he was stuck with if he had any luck. Well, why not? Even if it was sarcastic, he was still attempting to interact with the guy.
“Any luck over there?” Tabitha yelled, his voice echoing throughout the small passage.

Tabitha fell forward as the kid collided with him. His Crobat shrieked and flew away from the two. It fluttered over to a nearby tree and perched, eagerly watching the situation unfold. It wasn’t often that the Crobat got to watch Tabitha be harassed by a little kid like Nate.
Tabitha threw his attacker off of him, but gently, in case the guy who tackled him happened to be important. He than stood up and brushed a few blades of grass off of him, glowering in the general direction of Nate. Then he actually looked at Nate.
Oh no. Not him. Tabitha growled and shook his fists at a tree, hoping that the kid wasn’t watching him.
“Child,” Tabitha started, turning around. He sighed to himself. If he wasn’t going to be able to escape this horrible fate, then he might as well accept it. There had been, oh, maybe one time where a kid had made a good first impression on him, and this wasn’t one of them.
Okay, Tabitha, think. How are you gonna tell this kid to mind his own business while not disclosing your identity?
“I would advise you to not tackle me if you want to get through this unharmed.”
Okay, okay, that was alright. A threat should work. Tabitha made sure to open his eyes fully and cross his arms when he warned his assigned partner. He had overheard grunts telling each other that he was intimidating when he did that.
Tabitha glanced around before leaning over a little bit.
“You’re my partner, then?” Tabitha asked, although he already knew the answer.
“Forget you ever... attacked me.” Maybe he could give this kid a chance. After all, the two would be traveling together for a while. But then again, this was the first person, well, second person Tabitha could think of that would be so rude as to full-on tackle him like a wild Pokémon.
He rose back to his full height and uncrossed his arms, recalling his Crobat, much to the Crobat’s dismay. If he was going to work with this kid there were going to be some rules. Well, he didn’t want to scare the kid too much, so he could save the rules for later. He chuckled softly at the idea.
“Do you have anything that can fly, child? Haha, I know exactly where my- er, our berry is.” Tabitha grinned.

Tabitha tried to remain as unsuspicious and inconspicuous as possible as he briskly walked through Verdanturf. He hoped he wouldn’t be recognized without his Team Magma attire, but the whole region knew who he was. At least, he thought the whole region knew who he was. Tabitha ignored all the strange and frightened looks he got from people just passing by. Sometimes he enjoyed, dare he say it, even loved being feared. That meant that people found him powerful. Not today, though. Today it just made him uncomfortable. He wasn’t going to hurt anyone today. Well, he thought he wasn’t.
He picked up his shirt from one of the staff members who didn’t seem to know who he was. Maybe they were from another region? Maybe his master disguise of a plain red sweater was actually working? Either way, he was relieved to take his shirt and thank the staff.
Tabitha walked to an area of Verdanturf where it would be harder to see him and looked over the shirt. It was light grey and had a golden Seviper on the front. Tacky. Apparently wearing the shirt was mandatory. Okay. He could live with that. Tabitha pulled the shirt over his red hoodie, knowing that if his disguise fooled the staff, it would definitely fool his partner for the event.
Slipping back into the colorful crowd, Tabitha sought out his partner. A pair wearing blue shirts were leaving, there was a guy wearing an orange shirt that Tabitha found somewhat familiar, and then there was the other guy in the light grey shirt. Oh Arceus. Oh Arceus no. This could not be happening.
Tabitha had been paired up with a kid. He had been paired up with an incompetent child. Did the staff pairing up the groups not know of Tabitha’s hatred for children? They had no respect for him! This was bad. This was terrible.
Tabitha groaned and turned away from the kid, hoping that he didn’t see him. Hey! Maybe he could sneak away without anyone noticing. He knew exactly where the berry he needed to look for grew, and then he could have the radio broadcast all to himself! He would be able to spread Magma propaganda without any issues! Actually, as his boss once said, ‘it’s not propaganda if it’s true.’ With a sneaky grin now on his face, Tabitha shuffled very stealthily to the edge of Verdanturf and sent out his Crobat. So long, suckers. Tabitha’s gonna win this all on his own.

Once the beam of light from Giovanni’s flashlight hit Tabitha, he froze and let out an almost inaudible whimper. It wasn’t that he was intimidated, haha, no... it was that the light was shining too brightly in his eyes.
And that he had a sinking feeling that he knew who this man was.
Anywho, this guy was asking Tabitha’s permission to apologize? No, that was Tabitha’s job. He was supposed to ask offenders to apologize. The Magma Admin stood up as steadily as he could, partially covering his face with his glove to save his eyes from the flashlight.
“An apology is in order.”
Tabitha frowned. Part of him wanted to yell at this man for, admittedly, letting his Gliscor frighten him, but the other part of him knew that this guy wouldn’t listen. He had a businessman aura, which Tabitha knew was never a good thing in an enemy. Ah well. He was still a bit mad.
“You just let that Pokémon loose in a fragile cave system like this!? That was not only irresponsible, but it was irrespectful to the formations that have spent millions of year forming, and it was-“
Tabitha’s scolding, which sounded a lot like what he would yell at a grunt, was cut short by his Crobat landing on his shoulder. Tabitha yelled and stumbled forward, not expecting the big bat. Tabitha glared at the Crobat. He really wasn’t in the mood for this. He balled up his fist and brought it quickly into a long stalagmite, going against what he had yelled at Giovanni for.
“You never saw me.” Tabitha hissed in Giovanni’s direction before stepping out of the flashlight’s beam. He stormed out of the cave, Crobat still on his back.
Or, at least, he tried to. The cave had been cut off at that point by what felt like a rock slide.
Tabitha wanted to scream and punch rocks until he ran out of oxygen. First he was getting no luck in this dingy cave, then he was embarrassed in front of someone presumably important, and now he was beginning to draw the conclusion that the man was the one to trap him in here. This was a terrible expedition. Once he reported to Maxie on this...
Grunts were always better for doing things like this. At least their tempers weren’t as short. At least most of them weren't as impulsive as thier admin.
Tabitha stuck his hand into his pocket in search of a Pokéball, but alas, he had only brought one. Groaning and pinching the bridge of his nose, he had a feeling that he would be in here for a while.

Gliscor was in fact with the human in question. Tabitha had shone his flashlight directly in the Pokemon’s face by accident after kicking the stalagmite, and took a step backward in shock. Gliscor weren’t native to Hoenn...
Tabitha took another step back, tripping over the rock formation he had just kicked. He fell backward, yelling and dropping his flashlight, landing on formations that had been building up for years. The cave seemd to be educated in the karma department. Scowling, Tabitha carefully picked himself up and fingered the new tears in his uniform. Those might take a while to fix up. He lowered himself to the ground and felt around for hos Pokeball when he heard footsteps.
Assuming that the Gliscor belonged to the owner of the hollow noises echoing throughout the dusty cave, Tabitha called out.
”Are you the owner of this Gliscor?” Tabitha asked, his voice bouncing off the rock walls is of the enclosed space. He paused to cough, sending a small dust cloud into the air.
”If so, I would appreciate it if you were to return it.” Tabitha wasn’t in a good mood, and his signature chuckle was replaced with a frustrated huff.
He continued feeling for his flashlight and his Pokeballs, hoping to return his Crobat before he was spooked by that too.

Mt. Chimney was where that one special meteorite is, he said. Mt. Chimney was where everything important was going to happen, he said. Well, what he didn’t say was that this was going to be tedious work.
Tabitha silently fumed in the dark caves of the aforementioned active volcano. Maxie was certain that the meteorite that Team Magma needed was in these caves somewhere, but Tabitha was getting no luck. Even the help of his Zubat’s echolocation did nothing to aid the frustrated Magma Admin.
Tabitha paced around the dusty cave system, waving his flashlight in every nook and cranny. He took careful note of the shiny stones in the wall, and carefully removed the ones of value. Who knew? Maybe Maxie would be fine with some evolutionary stones until the meteorite finally turned up.
Maybe the meteor was, oh, maybe in Meteor Falls? Tabitha chuckled spitefully to himself. If it was actually there and easily accessible, he was going to be furious.
Suddenly, there was a horrible cracking coming from all sides. Tabitha’s eyes widened. No, it couldn’t be! He knew this sound well, and this was a terrible time for him to be hearing it. As the tunnels around him collapsed, the Magma Admin shouted in anger. He kicked a stalagmite in front of him, knowing fully well that it wouldn’t help the situation.

Stormy Seas
Tabitha had been outside battling water-type Pokémon to prepare for possible future encounters with Team Aqua. He knew that he was no match for them withiut the proper training regimens. In fact, he had come up with them himself, and prided himself for his accomplishment. The forecast called for a minor tropical storm. Tabitha would normally rush all grunts inside, but the weatherman had never said that the storm would come this way.As his Camerupt fought the Pokémon of the seas, Tabitha noticed a swirling storm heading in his direction. It was coming fast as well. Faster than Tabitha would’ve thought. Hurriedly returning his Camerupt to it’s Pokéball, Tabitha started running to the Magma Base’s entrance. He slipped on the muddy sand as the clouds above him pelted him with raindrops. Eventually he lost his balance and fell, only to scramble up to his feet in hopes that he’d make it back safely.A tidal wave approached, swallowing the Magma Admin before he could continue any further.Calm waves lapped up against the beach. A bright sun shone down onto the unconscious Magma Admin lying in the sand. Standing before him was his boss, Maxie, who looked moderately displeased. Tabitha opened his eyes, still caked with hard sand, and looked up.“Good morning...” he said sleepily, after taking in his surroundings. “What happened?”

{this sounds wild lets do it} Stormy Seas
(neat!!!!! this sounds like it would be fun)Odd stones often washed up on the shores of Route 8. There would be fossils, gems, and of course the occasional worthless rock only there to be pretty. This morning, something washed up ashore with the fossils, gems, and pretty rocks. In fact, it was a grown man.He wore mostly red, and was, obviously, very soaked from his long tumble through the ocean. He wasn’t sure how he fell into the raging waves, or how he ended up on Route 8 near Ambrette Town. Maybe it had to do with the submarine? Kyogre being awakened? He didn’t know. His name was Tabitha. Right. He was important. The man began coughing up salty water as he finally woke up, feeling absolutely dreadful. He now knew more than ever why he hated Team Aqua. After Tabitha regained his senses, he shakily made his way to his feet. He should’ve been thinking of how tired and hungry he was, but he was instead huffing at the mucky condition of his clothing. Sighing, the Magma Admin took a weary step toward land. He wasn’t watching where he stumbled, and found himself quite literally running into an exceedingly tall man. Needless to say, on top of being tired, hungry, and confused, Tabitha felt intimidated.

I heard it was Bobert that clogged the downstairs toilet after Taco Tuesday and caused it to go out of order
Tabitha was not a plumber. He had not heard of any plugged downstairs toilet. He mainly took care of hallways and trash. He knitted his eyebrows in confusion.“But...I fired him.”

whats it like, cleaning bathrooms and garbages? also how messy is everyone at the base
Tabitha pondered the question. He had never really thought about what it was like to be a custodian when he just was.“Heh, it’s relaxing, if I’m being honest. Listening to music makes the shift go by faster. People tend to avoid you.” Tabitha chuckled to himself. He never really knew why people were so afraid of being in a janitor’s presence.“As for how messy the base is? Hyahyahyah! It’s cleaner than any other place I’ve worked!” That wasn’t saying a lot, as the only other place he had worked as a janitor was at the very sterile Devon Corperation.“Although there are a few grunts that somehow manage to embed glitter into the furniture. “ Tabitha frowned. “If I ever catch them, they’re fired.”
