if you actually watched the clip going around, you'd know that there isn't even 1 definitive company/group who's buying RWBY.

direct quote: "conversations are going very well to find rwby a new home, we cannot share who just yet, but we have identified some great partners that would be great homes for it and we hope to share some news in the next coming weeks."

We will hopefully know who the owners are in a few weeks.... or maybe not, I've seen seemingly good news followed by radio silence enough to not get my hopes up
