"I wanted to wait until we knew and trusted each other long enough." Telling anyone her story is not exactly a conversation starter. Of course, she wanted to know Shadow's story, but she wasn't going to force him to tell her if he didn't want to.

"When I was a kitten, I had beautiful claws which I was very proud of. A nice couple took me in. I would use my claws frequently in their household, which in retrospect, was bad for them because I scratched their curtains and played too rough with their hamster. And then they..." she sighed before finishing. "They declawed me."

"I know, sweetie." Even though they just got settled, Dulcinea felt relaxed already. It's either from the view of the beach or just being with Rocket. Or both. "You did your research, didn't you? Is there anything in Hawaii that interests you? This doesn't just have to be about what I want to do."

Besides, she already got what she wanted at the Wishing Star. The female feline was getting menacing vibes from Kuromi. Sensing that she might be a potential threat, Kitty pulled out her sword.

"You're way out of your league if you think I'd accept an offer like that." She did not trust Kuromi.
