Re-discovered this piece and I still can’t believe how much light and joy this brings to my little heart
Aaah I still wish I had a pianist friend with whom I could play this, what a beautiful bond this would create between us ;_;
Filipe Melo & Luiza Dedisin - Mozart: Sonata in D major, K 448 - Molto Allegro
I find it truly magical that something that someone thought of and wrote over 200 years ago, can survive all this time and travel all the way to reach me, here, today, just to be able to put a smile on my face and make my day better. This movement is so uplifting and playful and joyous, always makes me so happy and positive after listenning to it.
Also another dream of my life, is to have a fellow pianist friend, and play this sonata with that person ;__;

Vivaldi : La Follia
My latest addiction, I’ve listened to this probably 87 times in a row already ;_;
The last movement of this piece is definitely the most metal, hardcore piece of music I’ve ever listened to, like it’s impossible not to headbang to this, it’s just so intense and passionate and fiery
How can some people say classical music is boring? I honestly don’t understand, I mean, they need to listen to this, because Vivaldi is so lit ;_;

F.Mendelssohn Bartholdy Symphony No.3 in A minor Scottish Op.56
Conducted by Leonard Bernstein
Have I ever mentioned how much I freaking love and adore and worship Felix Mendelssohn and how much of a genius he is
This man makes me feel things for which I don’t have words to describe, but I always feel like I’m going to have a cardiac explosion and that my heart is going to leap off my chest and reach the Heavens
that 4th movement, I’d be headbanging in the club if the DJ played this

Lucia Popp - Ruhe Sanft, Mein Holdes Leben (Mozart, Zaide
omg this makes me feel a strange kind of sadness, the kind which is tempered with nostalgia for happy times that have passed and finally having to say goodbye to them. A kind of peaceful resignation.
To me, it evoques the image of someone in a harbour looking at a boat that just set sail, knowing that in it travels someone they love and that they shall not see each other ever again.
Bottom line: Mozart just being the divine machine that he is
