About us
My name is Lalandia Whitesmith-Smith and together with my cousin Fortuna Biscott-Smith, we travel this sceptred isle in search of the best infusions of Camellia Sinensis and accompanying sweet meats. But it has not always been thus. Allow me to elaborate a little bit further. Ours is a story not simply of beveraginal supplication; it is a story which takes flight into the realm of the fourth dimension.. and back again in time for tea.. again.
In 1899 whilst at the home of our dear friend Mr Wells.. well, your probably guessed the rest but allow us to continue nonetheless.. we were allowed by that kind, well meaning and intelligent fellow, to "borrow" his machine for what he called a little whirligig about time. On our first trip he accompanied us and we had a lovely time as he decided it would be a nice thing to take us back to enjoy the lovely weather we had been experiencing not two weeks prior.
In anticipation of our jaunt, we packed some cucumber sandwiches, a pot of tea and some cake. The rest, as they say, is history.. or the future. Sometimes it was a little confusing if it was next week or the week before last of our own so-called "time line".
Hopefully our little bloggerations will give you and the rest of our compatriot bloggerati something to cogitate, on the stage we call the bloggerarium. Until next time, or was it the time or even the shape of things to come, farewell.. or hello, or even.. surprise!
