There were another few semesters still to go until Steven completed his Business degree.  His goal was to finish his degree then ask the woman of his Dreams, Sophie Mander to marry him.  He could only hope that his long time girlfriend now might still like him after choosing to board in the dorms instead of his own Private home to rent near campus.  But he had to save for the engagement ring!

Eventually he passed with flying colors though he did have to skip a few parties to make his degree with an A happen.  But he got his business degree with a 4.0 and he’d finally be done and he would be able to get a decent job, and continue making money for his future wife, and his mother who had attempted to give him everything he wanted.

Graduation had been surreal, the crowd, his mother in the crowd cheering him on.  So much of her money and grants from the school he worked so hard acquire for himself, all of it had finally paid off when he was able to walk across that stage.

It felt so good to hold that diploma in his hands and finally have something tangible that would give him the ticket for a better life.  So he can give his mother the life she deserves.  He bought a jeep before heading home with his mother.  It was nice to have their own mode of transportation, even though the jeep was in his name the jeep was for every one.  

On the way home his mother got to drive the jeep, as Steven started sending his resume out onto the internet.  He was glad to see he got so many offers back!  Immediately he decided on starting his career as a Teacher!  He had wanted to be a teacher for a while and he was happy to finally start chatting with kids, and hoping to improve their lives little by little.

It would be a few days for Steven to get used to his job and find enough time to ask for Sophie to come over.  Eventually after his first week as a teacher and his first weekend Steven called Sophie, he felt more nervous than he had ever before asking her to visit his home town, Lucky Palms.

The first day had been fun, they had gone to visit the festival at the park, they had gone to a science class, enjoying their date as a couple and the next day they stayed at home, while Regina went to work.  That’s when he turned to her and asked,

“I know we only met 5 years ago, and we’ve been dating for 4, but I would like you to be my wife, Sophie Mander will you marry me?”

Steven had never been so surprised to hear a shriek followed by a “yes!”

OK, so it’s harder to play sims 2 than I thought it would be on my computer, I thought you could adjust how it shows on the computer, but apparently the only option is 800x600 or what ever, and I thought when I ran it before I could have the wants/fears and the needs panels open at the same time :/ 

 It also doesn’t help that I need a new mouse because my center wheel/button is broken. So Sims 4 isn’t all that fun to play either right now.

Sims 3 is the only one with tilt interface buttons so back to ts3 :D

I’m Jillian Chapagne, I’m a young adult who’s new to the San MyShuno scene.  So far I’ve met plenty of new interesting and wonderful people!  I’ve got a dream career in Politics and I hope to be president some day!  I’ve met a nice woman from a city over and I hope things go well!

I aspire to not only be president but I want to produce a strong lineage!  I want to be a parent!  I can’t wait to be called Mom!  Hopefully I can find the right woman for me.

After winter break was done Steven was finally able to return to college.

Before he left he had chatted with the school about assisting him in getting help with raising funds.  They were so impressed with his performance in school and with the community that he was granted a § 3,000 scholarship, which to Steven was more money than he ever remembered his mother ever having.  This was more than enough to get him his own private home to rent for the semester as well as give some to his mother back home!  This was a godsend!

Despite how tired he actually was he was glad to be back, 6 credits down, and this semester would give him another 12!  He was half way there to getting to his degree!  Maybe he’s even see that girl with the technology degree!  That would be awesome!  

More classes and presentations needed to be made, Steven had an easier time keeping up this semester now that he knew what he needed to do!  He made sure to study and get all of his projects done!  Eventually all his hard work paid off!  He eventually made it to the Dean’s list!    It was such an exciting day to hear about that!

The girl,her name being Sophie Manor, had invited him to a Kegger, This was his first party with actual friends and he was going to PARTAY!  He was glad to find out that he and Sophie were actually neighbors!  And apparently she liked to party a lot.  

There was nothing wrong with partying but Steven has never been found of crowds. He almost always said yes to Sophies party invites, there was one where he decided he maybe shouldn’t go.  He was sick, really sick.  He thought it might be his childhood illness coming back with a vengeance, so he decided to stop by and see if she needed any help setting up for the party instead,  decorations, knick knacks, he wasn’t going to touch the food or the keg by the off chance he would contaminated it or he was contagious.

“I think were good, Steven thanks!  I appreciate it though!” 

“Well if there’s nothing I can help with I’d just like to say that... I like you.  and I want to be something with you.”

“Wow, uh, OK, sure.  Lets give it a shot!”

Steven smiled and leaned in to kiss Sophie, his heart thumped wildly as she kissed him back.  This was his first kiss!  He couldn’t believe it and with such a beautiful woman too! College might have been the best thing that had ever happened to him!

Steven took a huge breath of the fresh air he didn’t really enjoy.  He was the first in his family to attend university.  Or at least a real one. His mother was well educated and was only a lab tech, Steven wanted to be a teacher.  He had to get an education to be a teacher.

on his first day he had met a wonderful girl - already too nervous to even think about remembering her name.  She was cute and if he was right, she thought he was cute too!  The two hit it off wonderfully.  She was a book worm, he was a book worm!  She already had a degree in technology, that was really the only issue he could see with her.  He was a technophobe, He wished he was flirty but unfortunately he had proven to not be flirty at all.  Something that became evident as he grew up.  

He was sad to have missed his mothers 40th birthday, but he was sure that while he was away at college making friends she had all of her friends over to party long and hard in their home.

His schedule was moderately packed, he had more than enough time to find things to do and find time to study.  He had been grateful his mother had been able to find the money to go.  He had taken test after test and hadn’t been able to get any scholarships so finding out he can go to the university was a blessing.  Even if he had to live with other people.  He was sure that he could find odd jobs around campus to make ends meet if he had to find something.

Class had its own problems, but Steven was easily able to over look those Problems and stick it out, front row where the teacher could definitely see him and answer his questions.  He wanted to do this.  He wasn’t going to miss a single class, this wasn’t public school, a failure or drop out here would easily cost his family a fortune.  He couldn’t possibly do that to his mother.  Not when she worked so hard to give him the life he had.

Part of his curriculum was to put together a presentation, since so much of teaching is presenting students with information and teaching them how to do things like algebra and science.  The semester seemed to fly by far too quickly.  Eventually the end of the semester reared its head, he had one final, this was it.   He had studied since he’d been up, he was almost late!  Though he had made it on time (just barely.) and he had passed his exam with a B.  He had passed his course with a B all together.  All in all he figured that was fine. He’s come back after break and ACE the next semester!

Eventually Stevens 13th birthday rolled rolled around.  Regina had sent him out to do something all on his own. After the last birthday part Regina Decided against throwing any kind of party, this time she would just allow the youngster to age up all on his own.  And boy did he turn into a photogenically shy teenager.  

Regina regrets not taking nearly as many pictures of her son as a teenager as she wanted.  There is one of him on his graduation day and thats really all she has of her little boy as a teen.  

His years in middle school and high school had bee rough, the bus stop was right up against the highway the bus driver not wanting to make only on stop at the end of their road.  She had fought with the school system plenty of times over it, and nothing had gotten changed.  Maybe eventually they would be able to move to a place with more kids.

"”Why are you skipping 1st hour and most of second?” asked Regina having gotten off the phone with principal.  

“Because we don’t have a car and the bus stop is a mile away,” answered Steven.  “I wouldn’t be late if the bus just came and picked me up.”

Reginal paused, taking a deep breath, he was correct, there was really nothing they could do.  There wasn’t anyway her car pool would be willing to take her son to school, she’s just have to be ok with him taking so long to get to school.  

Eventually his last year of high school came, it was Prom time.  He had managed to make one friend, probably out of pity, since he didn’t really have any still.  His name was Shawn.  Steven had taken a liking to Shawn and eventually when he asked to go to Shawns house, Regina said it was fine!

Shawn was rich, something he hadn’t known about him till he saw his home.  Shawn had everything Steven and his mother could ever dream of!  He wasn’t even aware they made things this expensive!  

"Wow!  This is such a wonderful home you have Shawn!  I wish we could afford stuff like this,” stated Steven.  He glanced out the window, “and the view!”

“Well its raining right now but we have a pretty good view if I do say so my self,” stated Shawn.  Steven got the impression Shawn wasn’t entirely chatting about the outside, he attempted to flirt back, and the two went back and fourth getting to know one another, flirting.  

Steven went awkwardly quiet, “Would you-ah, would you like to go to Prim with me?” he asked his face light up red in embarrasment.

“Are you kidding!?  I’d love to,” smiled Shawn.

The night of Prom came and no one came to pick Steven up, he got ready in a tux, scrounged together from what his mom had been able to find and piece together and there was no limo to come for him.  Maybe SHawn was playing prank on him, he just signed, returned to his pajamas and read stories, the greatest escape he could make, until he grew too tired and fell asleep.

Steven spend a majority of his childhood extremely ill.  He missed the first few years of school needing to be school by a special set of teachers and his only friend for socialization, Fluffy.  

Regina often found Stevens friend to be rather interesting.  She was well aware that eventually her child would out grow Fluffy she often heard him complain that he would follow him into the restroom, and he’s have to shoo him out.  It was hard to hear that a friend her son had made up was doing those kinds of things to him.  

Eventually though, Steven was cure of his illness after three years thanks to a cure developed by Area 52 labs and the Sacred Spleen Hospital, he was glad to finally be feeling better and on his first day of school he gave his mom a hug, for the first time in a long time he felt like a normal kid.

Making friends at school had been hard, he had only ever made friends with Fluffy, his imaginary friend and making friends with other kids was hard.  None of them were interested in his immaginary friend so Steven wasn’t interested in them either.  Fluffy hung around a long time.  Regina thought about maybe talking to a psychologist seeing if something might be wrong, but he was going to turn 14 soon, he was bound to grow up out of the imaginary friend stage eventually right?

A year passes when suddenly Regina looks up at her phone and notifies her that her sons Birthday is in a few days.  She hadn’t forgotten, She could never forget Stevens birthday!  She just can’t believe her little man is growing up - he’ll be a child!  

She feels guilty that her greatest relief is that she wont have to pay for a babysitter any more!  It wont be  §75 a day to have some one watch him.  She starts getting the House ready as she plans a birthday party for her baby boy.  She knows that Steven isn’t one for crowds but she’s hoping that it might be a phase, that he’ll actually enjoy having a party.

She rounds up her crying child as guests begin to enter the House.  He starts crying uncertain with many of his Moms friends filling the House.  “Shh, come one blow out your candles then you can go back into your room and take a nap,” stated Regina.

He had to have help, his small little lungs not having enough strength to blow out the candles.  The crowd cheers causing another loud cry to escape Stevens little body.  He takes a deep breath attempting to calm down before grabbing a piece of cake.  

She checks in on Steven through out the party until people leave.  This might be the last party she holds for him, obviously it’s not a phase.  She returns to her friends continuing to chat about her son and saying good bye to those that attended the party.

If was the first day in their new house.  Regina, exhausted from moving the furniture around, allows her son to play with the toy that he had been gifted by the construction workers, Fluffy he likes to call it.  She knows he’s grown attached the doll and She’s thankful that he has found something bright in his short life thus far.

The Drywalls not painted, she finds it uncomfortable.  She knows there will be a few more weekends as she gets the funds together to get paint and wall paper done.  She knows bills and the baby sitter money come first.  She wants to buy Steven a few toys, make it feel more like a home, so he can have fun. She is just happy to have a roof over their heads and walls to keep them protected from the weird desert weather.

Her first day at the Area 52 Test Labs came much earlier than expected.  She woke up late, showered, and attempted to eat some of the left over salad she made for her self last night.  Her Car Pool came as soon as she opened the refrigerator door and help the plate in her hand.  She Swore, pulled out her phone and dialed her babysitter, “Hey my Rides here for work. I need you to come ASAP.  I have to leave for work now.”  

She Quickly runs to check on Steven before standing out side giving the ‘one minute’ finger to her ride.  She feels bad making them wait on her first day, but she will apologize later and hope that her car pool will understand.  She groans regretting not buying a car as well.  

It doesn’t take long for the babysitter to get here.  Regina thanks her baby sitter profusely before running out the door to the car pool so they could all finally make it to work.  Thankfully they made it on time!

Her first day had been pretty good.  Nothing bad had happened so she counted that as a win!  She walked into her house the car pool dropping her off right outside her house.  She was hoping that Stevens day with the babysitter was just as good as her day went!  

The smell she was greeted with was smokey, a fire had happened on the lot.  a Counter and the Stove were destroyed, looks like she would be making a call to the insurance company.  

“You’re stove caught on fire, no one was hurt though!  Took forever for the fire department to get here though.”

Regina sighed unsure how she was going to pay the baby sitter now.  “I’m sorry, until I know how much damage was done, I can’t afford to pay you for your time.  You’re welcome to take anything you want from the House as payment though,” offered Regina as he glanced between her son in the walk buggy and then over to the chard counter and stove.  

“I understand,” stated the sitter.  Regina wasn’t sure what she took, only that she hoped what ever it was Steven would immediately want it.

This humble single Mother, Regina Tillman, was kicked out of her Parents home after she was blessed with her son Steven Tillman.  The Father of her son is unknown and she doesn’t really care all that much.  She had been awarded  §16,000 and she built a house in Lucky Palms with it.  

She had a Humble 2 bedroom/1 Bath home built in her home town, Lucky Palms, in an attempt to giver her son a happier Life.  She hopes maybe some day she might get Married but knows that its a long shot now that she has Steven.

Steven will always come first to her.  She only hopes that she can advance her career in the Science field and be a loving mother.
