Hey guys what’s up! In this post I am going to give you an overview and specs of the new OnePlus 5. So let’s get started.
Before we dive into the details I will first give you the specs of the device.
Specification
Snapdragon 835 (octa core 2.45 GHz)
6GB/8GB
5.5” 1080p AMOLED Screen (Gorilla glass 5)
Adreno 540 GPU
64 / 128 GB Internal Storage
Dual sim nano
Bluetooth 5.0
Dual rear Camera 16MP / 20 MP / 16MP front
3300 mAh (Dash Fast Charging)
Fingerprint scanner / NFC
As you can see OnePlus5 is powered by Snapdragon 835 (Octa core) clocked at 2.5 GHz. The phone is available at two variants 6GB / 64GB and 8GB/128GB. The phone has 5.5” 1080 p AMOLED Screen with Gorilla glass 5 protection. It has a Adreno 540 GPU. The phone is support dual nano sim but do not have any micro sd card support. In my opinion its fine because with 64GB / 128GB storage should not be any issue. The phone have dual rear camera of which the primary camera is 16 MP and the secondary camera is of 20 MP. The secondary camera is used for zooming. The battery is of 3300 mAh with Dash Fast Charging support. I also noticed that vibration motor in OnePlus is quite refined. You can set the vibration type for different types of event. For example you can set the vibration type to hard for the incoming call and can set the vibration type to light for the other notification.
The highlighting point of the phone is the dual camera setup. As you can see in the image the design is very similar to iphone 7. The company is stressing on the camera very much. You can see the images shot by OnePlus 5.

As you can see the images are very sharp and colors are quite vibrant. Even if you take photos in 2x zoom the sharpness is quite good. Regarding the videos guys the quality of the videos is quite nice but the voice recorded by the inbuilt recorder is not that good.
Regarding the pricing the OnePlus 5 is selling on Amazon at Rs 32,999 for 6GB Variant and 37,999 for 8GB variant. Honestly guys at this price point this device is really a beast.
That’s all for today guys. If you like the post then please hit the like button. Feel free to comment and do follow my blog for the future update.
