I should really go to the final fantasy MtG prerelease tomorrow to get a feel for whatever the new meta's gonna be, but the problem is I really do not know or care about Final Fantasy even a little bit. Here is the sum total of knowledge I've passively osmosed about Final Fantasy.

They are videogames.

None of the finals fantasy are directly connected by plot, except for most of them, which are.

There are big emus you can ride. Real life has those too, but they seem to be an accepted and relatively safe mode of transportation. Presumably this is the final fantasy in question, 'final' because, in the real world, this is when an emu rips out your throat.

Cloud Strife and Sephiroth are there in some of them. Sometimes Cloud visits Kingdom Hearts instead. And Soul Calibur, I think.
