Techza Week 2025 has technically officially ended! Thank you to everyone who participated!!! Everyone made such great stuff!

While technically it has ended, if you're still working on stuff and you want to post it later, feel free to still do that! Just make sure to tag this blog so I see it and can reblog it! And if you posted something and I happened to miss it, please send an ask or @ me so I can reblog it here. Sometimes Tumblr is stupid and doesn't show me all my @'s or everything in the tag even though I try to check it as much as possible.

i just wanted to say thank you for hosting techza week again this year! participating in 2024 was a big push for me to finally start up the archive and interact with other techza enjoyers and i haven't looked back since. it's been so great getting to talk nonsense about these two to more people, and i don't think i'd have done it if it wasn't for techza week. unfortunately life happened so i will be late to the rest of the prompts, but i'm looking forward to drawing them all!! everyone else's works this week have kept me so well fed, so thank you to everyone that's reading this too :)

My initial goal when starting Techza Week last year was to encourage people to make content if they wanted to and show that the community was very much still here, and hopefully help bring it together. And I'm so glad that it was able to accomplish that 🥺

And don't worry about being late! It's all for fun and I'll still be here reblogging and posting stuff!

“It is urgent that these two get to the Temple of Zutarrag in Triboar,” the monk is saying. He has a hand on the heads of two dragonborn children. “One of our order was meant to take them, but he fell ill, and the rest of us are too old to attempt the journey.” The kids are cute, Phil has to admit. One boy, with dark purple scales covering his head and wide blue eyes. He’s wearing little robes, and there’s a tail sticking out the back. The girl has teal scales along the sides of her face, but she isn’t bald like the boy. Instead she has wildly curly hair and darker skin. Her eyes are brown and just as wide. She’s dressed in the same somewhat drab robes. They both look incredibly small.

Summary: The skull masks the guards wore hid their expressions, but this one’s opinion was clear as he looked Phil up and down. “You’ve got his powers blocked and his hands and feet tied,” a deep voice said from behind Phil. “I think I can manage.”

And that was exactly the attitude Phil wanted the bastard to have. That’d work just great before Phil killed him in the night.

the pressure and the panic you push your body through

When the Ender King’s guards hauled him back down the basement steps, the Crowfather’s left eye was swollen nearly closed, and his nose was so visibly broken it moved when he breathed. The villain tried and failed to keep his feet underneath him as the guards dragged him across the floor, and when they dumped him into his cell he collapsed in a heap of bloodstained feathers and black fabric. On the other side of this half-lit basement, Techno shifted to try and check on the other man without falling himself. He’d dragged his body across the cement to prop himself against the back wall of his cell, and he was a bit concerned that if he leaned too far he was going to tip over. With his ribs as they were, he wasn’t sure if he would be able to shove himself back upright with any speed if he fell. The angle was bad, but he could see that the prisoner in the other cell was still breathing. “Crow?” he ventured, trying to scan the older man for visible broken bones. “You doin’ okay?” Or: Hero and Villain captured by a worse villain, but it's emduo. Most passengers on the system shuttle were napping or focused on media as it started the scheduled descent to the Vault. Phil gathered his things and checked the viewport again. The prison hung in space outside the shuttle, a massive unmarked cube in the void. There was an irregular sparkle in the empty half-km around the construction, the laser deflection array sparking as it vaporized micro-meteorites that dared to come close. The shuttle proceeded on a careful descent down the narrow path for transit in and out of the station, bracketed on each side the prison’s security defences. Or: Phil stages a prison break — in space. Day Six: Imprisonment.

What's up folks it is day six of @techzaweek and I passed an exam today and I have another fic clutched in my bloody fists to show you. Why Medusa, you say, didn't you already have another fic named something similar before? The nether one? Why no, I say, that one was titled as a quote from the book of Ruth, and this is a quote from the song Kyrie, from the 80s, with the synth bits. It's very different. Also this one is in space. Technoblade had arrived at the stronghold at about three in the afternoon, the portal dropping him onto a glacier under a velvet-dark sky speckled with stars. His fellow tiend was supposed to arrive in half an hour, at what would be early morning for the other person when they left the Summer Court. He had that much time to himself. Techno trudged up the switchback path to the fortress perched at the bottom of the world, and did his best to get the place ready. There was only so much a person could do to make seven years on the ice seem welcoming—either you were positive about exile or you weren’t—but he could at least light some lamps. He spruced the place up and then returned to the lodestone in the ground to wait. His companion would be getting there any second now.
