Learn how to quiet your inner critic. Learn how to let go of this voice inside your head constantly telling you that you can’t achieve anything, you’re useless and not worthy. The greatest enemy is always inside you. You can’t escape your own mind. You can try, but wherever you go, you take your mind with you. You can’t escape your own thoughts. You have to address them.
We spend too much time criticizing ourselves, and we never pay much attention to our strengths, talents, and achievements. It’s time to change it. It’s time to celebrate yourself. It’s time to become your greatest supporter. It’s time to abandon your inner critic. It’s time to truly love and appreciate yourself. You don’t have to be perfect, nobody’s perfect.
Pointing out your mistakes won’t help you become your greatest version. Your actions don’t have to be perfect as long as your work on yourself every single day, as long as you evolve, as long as you are aware of your weak points and want to improve them. You don’t improve yourself by inner criticism. Inner criticism only poisons your life and prevents you from achieving greatness. You improve yourself by loving and accepting yourself in the present moment while working towards becoming your better version.

Here’s to the people with bad teeth, to the people whose parents won’t (or can’t) get them braces or retainers, here’s to the people with chipped teeth and stained teeth, to the ones with dentures, to the ones with missing teeth, or gaps, or crooked teeth. Here’s to the people who hide their laugh, and smile with their lips closed, here’s to the ones who have cavities and to the ones with jaw problems, the ones with overbites, underbites, and bites that sit right together.
Here’s to you <3

Be nice to retail and food service workers, not because they're heroes for working during a pandemic, but because:
1. They're being held hostage by capitalism and don't have a real choice.
2. They're human beings who deserve your respect and kindness.

you won’t ever have to justify your feelings to the people who are committed to being by your side, to loving and respecting you. once you understand that, it becomes easier to navigate relationships without feeling guilty for wanting to have your needs met.

if it didn't work out...
...tell yourself that you've got better things waiting for you.
NO, it's not just a way to make yourself feel okay but the absolute truth. sooner or later we all find out why we didn't get what we didn't get and how we are better without it. it may be a matter of perspective and positive outlook in some cases but it always works.
you are where you need to be. your efforts will get you what's best for you, always ✨

forget "earning" respect. forget "earning" love and affection. if it is not given freely and generously, it is not worth it.

you didn't need to go through all of that bullying and harassment and abuse to become a good person. it wasn't your trauma that made you stronger. it was you.

Daily reminder that you don’t need to be productive every day. Not every day has to be a tiem where you accomplish a million different things. Some days just being able to get out of bed is enough. You don’t need to do soemthing big everyday to live your best life. Look after yourself ❤️

If you had a good day, I'm happy for you.
If you had a bad day, I'm here for you.
No matter what your day looked like, remember that you are not alone. Reach out to the community. Be it a friend, a relative, a professor, or a stranger on the Internet. There are many blogs where you can send asks and share your story with, you just need to put a little effort into typing it out. Share both your wholesome stories and your sad stories. It is important and you are important.

saying “i love you” is so freeing though, like your best friend does a silly dance in the parking lot so you say “i love you” or your partner says something rly dumb but it makes you laugh so you say “i love you” or one of your parents brings you some of the food they cooked so you say “i love you” it’s so freeing and pure and human so maybe we should say “i love you” a little more often

Whenever you get stuck in a spiral of self-hatred, take a step back and ask yourself "what would I say if it was someone I loved who was in my position?" In most cases you'll discover that you wouldn't feel the need to be as harsh on anyone else. That maybe what you did isn't actually inherently unforgivable. That maybe you're being a bit too harsh on yourself.
