strong, independent, focused

but always makes time for you

Honestly, it's pretty amazing how much we've grown together. When I started this blog, I was unemployed, out of therapy, struggling with my gender identity and lost completely.

Now, I'm employed, in therapy, properly medicated, a proud trans man and not so lost. And, I found all of you.

Picture it: reader is doing her make up (the whole beat) one of the guys is staring genuinely intrigued how it works and she asks “wanna help me?” Who is hilariously awful at it? Who is surprisingly good at it? Who is window shut downing at the array of brushes? Who UNO reverses and says “practice on me”

omg this is so fun!! I fucking love makeup so lets do this!!

Leo

Ok so you’re at the powder stage of makeup

and Leo is watching intently as you look into the mirror and brush all over your face

“you gonna lie there or do you want to help me?”

he accepts this challenge

he’s really hesitant and light handedly brushes more powder over your face

the one thing he does know about makeup is blush 

and he applies this very liberally to you

you kind of look like a clown, and it’s all over your face 

he knows he’s messed up

but powers through

oh god, he remembers seeing you contour your face but he doesn’t know what’s too much

he won’t even try with mascara, too afraid if getting it in your eyes

you look in the mirror and you kind of resemble bobo the sad clown

“so, how did I do?” but he knows he did not do well

there’s no highlight, lipstick, blending or mascara....you look a mess and he knows it

you respond by taking a makeup wipe and rubbing it all over your face

Raph

Your morning routine normally involves Raph sitting and adoringly watching you do your makeup

“wanna help out?”

you hand him a brush and he’s more than ready

this boy watches makeup tutorials with you almost every night

still asks a lot of questions 

“should I be using a brush for this or is a blender thing better?”

you’ve taught him well

he’s not the best at contouring, but he gets the job done

understanding facial structure is a weak point of his, so it’s a little sloppy but not so much that someone would clock you for it

he matches you lip colour to your eyes!

like he goes with neutral tones and a nude lip!

the boy knows what he’s doing!

attempts eyeliner but they’re defo sisters not twins

but it’s such a good effort

you tell him “clearly you’ve been paying attention!”

he’s so proud of himself

like it’s a look you  could actually wear out

he steps back and admires his work

so you’re almost done with makeup

just need to line your lips and fill them in

and Mikey is watching with wide eyed fascination

you decide this could be fun ad hand him the lip liner

which he takes straight to under your eyes and draws little hearts on the rounds of your cheeks

they’re actually very good

it’s quite an e-girl look

he adds more blush inside them to make it stand out

he got some big ass fingers tho so it’s a little clumsy

eventually he gets to your lips

but not before placing a little kiss on them first, for good luck

he overlines them a little too much for your liking but it could work

and the lipstick colour is a little off but it’s bold, y’know?

he has such big ole cheeks that contouring is a little difficult but you make it work

and you do eyeliner, obvs

oh he has such pretty eyelashes and it’s so nice to see them with mascara

he’s hesitant but lets you

you go light, just some blush and mascara 

maybe some highlight and lip gloss

he kind of likes it but that’s the massive fucking sub in him coming out

ok he’s a bit too into it

you buy him some liquid highlighter for christmas and he loves it

doesn’t give a shit what Raph says, he thinks he looks pretty!

it’s the only time in his life he;s been responsible and it’s only because he doesn’t want his bed to catch fire
