that ~40 seconds before the music gets loud enough to hear in linger by the cranberries is always so worrying. like oh fuck what if i accidentally put on silence forever by the quiets instead of linger by the cranberries. but then the music hits and youre like ohhh this is linger by the cranberries. its like a 3 act play

just fyi you shouldn't emulate the problematic behavior depicted in fiction. just because something looks okay in a story doesn't make it okay in real life. this is about talking to your ex. do not text your ex. that's the devil speaking. you're not in a romcom. you're not in a fluffy fanfiction. it won't work out. don't do it.

sometimes the only closure you will get is knowing that everything you did was done earnestly and out of love

that post reminded me: one slightly weird adjustment i've had to make since my brother died is no longer worrying about wheelchair accessibility. which on one hand is very freeing because accessibility for wheelchair users really is absolute shit in most places but also now every time i walk anywhere that wouldn't be accessible in a chair i feel weirdly guilty for doing it. like i feel bad that he couldn't come. as if the lack of wheelchair accessibility is the biggest obstacle to him coming lmfao

Anytime I see a post that’s like “accessibility isn’t just a ramp” I’m like yeah, but also sometimes we barely get a ramp or we get no ramp at all. Obviously we should push for more but you should recognize that some people literally can’t get around most places because of things like stairs, broken elevators and lifts.

“no crew, no help, just pure hustle” cut to this poor woman bawling her eyes out. what the fuck is wrong with people? why is this being framed as a good or impressive feat? this person makes below poverty wages already. Burger King meanwhile takes in $27 billion in global revenue every single year. everyone involved in making this woman endure this should be tortured and force fed chicken fries until their heart gives out. fuck this country.

I know that the UK censorship laws are evils and fucked up on the face of them but I feel like we kinda blew past the part where it uses a phrenology machine to check your age.

i love media that confidently spoils itself right from the start!!! i love when stories hold your hand, perhaps even look you in the eye, and gently say ‘this character is going to die. this relationship is doomed.’ but assure you that this is a tale worth hearing because it’s not about the what it’s about the how. yayyyy hehehe 💙
