Teen Titans Part 3

The night grew dark and the whole city seemed to be slipping slowly into madness as time went on. The duo were only there a day and it was already intense and gave them the feeling of failing, yet they did not stop. They rushed around town, having split up to cover more ground as they looked for the scare crow all over town. They started tracing the people who were infected to narrow down the area that he could possibly be in and after a while they cut it down to a small radios and joined back up at their new secret hide out.

Robin: “Alright, now if I connect all the roads we tracked it to maybe we can pin point right where he is.”

Speedy: “Ah.. I get it, enough with the nerd talk and just do it.”

Though Speedy seemed snappy it was quite understanding sense the longer they waited the worse everyone would get and the harder it would be to cure everyone of the illness.

Speedy: “We have to move quick before Batman and Arrow catch wind of this or you know they will just swoop in and steal the case from us.”

He was worried about the people but he couldn’t get the thought out of his head that he was going to be stuck under the thumb of his former trainer, as he liked to call him.

Robin: “Got it! It looks like he is held up in a run down tower.. Makes sense it would be easier to spread... Oh man! Its not just some building, this building has piping that runs through out a good portion of the city, this might just be his opening show.”

With worry on their face they had no time to waist as they hopped on their bikes and rushed through the streets with masks on to shield them from the gas. As they got close they stopped and decided to go the last block on foot, so that they would not tip him off. Though no one knew of these heroes in West City yet so they could get the jump on him event easier.

Robin: “It seems the city opened this building and built in the pipes so that they could pump gas through the city and into homes. But they shut it down soon after in worry that they down would go up in flames.”

Speedy: “It seems like someone would have thought about that before they built in all the piping... Damn people these days have no sense.”

As they got to the building they heard noises as if someone was fighting already. They rushed in through side doors and found a girl with wings fighting Scare Crow and doing pretty well. Still with this being their first mission Speedy got annoyed that someone was going to come in and steel their win and with that thought he rushed in and fired an arrow that ultimately threw the girl off guard and left her open to be stabbed by one of Scare Crows needles. With her down the duo jumped in and fought, though not much like a team as they seemed to get in each others way more than anything. They were not prepped or ready for battle with one another and had no training, thus led to them stepping on one another toes. Robins close combat fighting style and quick kick combos was doing well and had Scare Crow against a wall but with Speedy wanting a part of the action he fired off a few arrows, one as a decoy and another that spat out foam to catch Scare Crow in but it ended up hitting Robin instead.

Robin: “Aw man I had him!!”

Robin shouted out as Scare Crow took the time to run away out a hidden door he had made.

Speedy: “Great! He got away because you were in my way.”

Robin: “Are you saying this is my fault.”

Speedy: “Well it sure as hell isn’t mine!”

As Speedy broke the foam around him and they continued their arguing with one another the girl had a chance to get up and with the poison in her veins she couldn’t tell what was what and attacked the two. Robin got hit with hard and flew against the wall.

Speedy: “Damn, are you alright.”

Robin: “I feel numb, don’t let her hit you!”

With quick moves and the girl being off balance from the poison, this time his arrow hit the mark and covered her in foam. After a quick talk they decided to take her back to their hide out where they could treat her and make an antidote for the town as well. As they got back Robin worked all night on remaking the antidote that Batman had once made for him. Speedy woke that morning and joined him in the room.

Robin: “Look, if we are going to be a team we have to start training, we went out there and acted like amateurs last night.”

With a look of annoyance but agreement, Speedy nodded.

Speedy: “Yea, I guess you’re right about that one. I guess I was just caught up in the moment. What about the girl, is she going to live?”

Robin: “Yea I gave her the antidote about an hour ago and started working on a way to wide spread it.”

Girls voice: “So who the hell are you two! You know its because of you I almost got killed out there!”

They turned and though Robin was just happy to see her awake and also agreed with what she stated, it seemed that Speedy didn’t quite agree.”

Speedy: “Hey this is our town to protect! If you didn’t jump in there before us none of this would have happened!” Girls voice: “Please I got their first and have been trying to track this guy down for weeks and you two show up like a couple of fools and let him get away!!”

Speedy: “Who the hell are you anyways! We have been at this for a lot longer than you have, it just happens that we are new working together. Whats your excuse.”

Girls voice: “I was doing fine till you tried to shoot me! And if you must know I am HawkGirl..”

Robin: “Look!!! Fighting about this isn’t getting us anywhere. Maybe we could work together sense she has been at this and could probably help with info. And honestly it wouldn’t be so bad to have some muscle on the team Speedy.”

Speedy: “Tch what ever.”

Speedy quickly turned his back and crossed his arms with a slight turn of the head to keep an eye on her. The girl now stating her name as HawkGirl did in fact have large wings and a mace at her side. She had a green short cut hoodie on and the hood of it came down over her face like a mask covered with feathers like a bird. Though she didn’t seemed pleased with this idea she felt that she wasn’t going to stop them from being around and she wasn’t going to back down.

HawkGirl: “Fine, we can work together... Just stay out of my way when we finally get him.”

((Writer: Yea this is a Teen Titans story with HawkGirl as a character. I thought it would be really awesome to see how it would play out if she was to awaken earlier on in life in my own little DC uni. Hope you enjoy this. All characters and story are owned buy DC comics, I in know way take credit for the creation of them. This is just a fan writing.))

Teen Titans Part 2

The next night the two once called sidekicks met with a firm shake, each hand gripping the others wrist and a not to one another.

Speedy: “Isn’t this great! Finally no getting told what to do all the time. Only the two of us as equals, fighting for the people of West City.”

Robin nodded in agreement as they headed to an old abandoned building that looked as though no one had been there in ages. As they walked through the doors it confirmed just that and  yet there was something about this place as they walked through.

Robin: “Come on man this is just some old building, what are we event doing here.”

Speedy smiled at him as he went to a wall and pushed the bricks in a special order that opened up the wall to a hidden base.

Speedy: “Well if we are going to set up here then we need a base, I have been working on this place in my spare time. Now we can get all the info and weapons we need to do this.”

As they went in all the lights and computers turned on and started to boot as they looked around. There were arrows and different types of staffs everywhere.

Robin: “Oh man, how did you do this without G.A finding out!

Speedy: “Just because I am his side kick doesn’t mean he knows everything I do, besides he paid me for missions.”

The two chucked for a moment and then an alarm went off, it seemed that something was going wrong at one of the night clubs down town. They quickly read up on what people were saying and it was described as though people just started going crazy and seeing things. “It wasn’t like normal drugs!! They were screaming about seeing horrible things and were acting so insane.” One random person said over the news cast.

Speedy: “Well it looks like we have our first mission! Come on lets head out.”

Robin: “Right lets do this!”

Speedy ran to the back wall and pushed a button, raising the wall up and revealing to motorcycles in each heroes respected colors. Robin could only smile as he jumped on and they road out into a back street and off to the club. By the time they got there it was shut down and everyone had left, yellow tape wrapped all the way around and glass all over the street still. They quickly got into the building and started searching around, starting with the security tapes that showed the people going crazy.

Robin: “This seems so familiar, like I have seen it before.”

Speedy: “Oh really, well then maybe you can hack into the Bats computer and find out any information he has on this back at our base.”

As they went speeding down the roads back toward the base they notice quite a few people out on the streets but all of them were acting crazy, as if they had seen a monster or a ghost. All of them running from something.

Robin: “Come on Speedy we have to hurry back.”

They raced back and Robin quickly hacked into Batman’s computer system.

Speedy: “Well that was easier than I thought it would be.”

Robin: With a chuckle in his voice “Yea that’s because before I left I set up some systems so that I could get in through a back door, just in case.”

With quick and easy research they found that there was a few times this had happened in Gothem city as well. It all started coming back to Robin as he read on and with a single image on a masked man he remembered it all.

Robin: “Ah!!! That’s right, I know who we are dealing with. It has to be the Scare Crow! The only reason I didn’t remember earlier is because the last time me and Bats faced off with him he injected me with some of his poison. If I remember correctly, this toxin that he makes will force you to see your most horrid fears come to life. As far as I know there is no antidote for it but with only small doses it doesn’t harm anyone enough to kill.”

Speedy: “And if he starts using bigger doses?”

Robin: “Then we are going to have a lot of bodies on our hands.

Teen Titans Story Start/part 1

Batman jumped from the Batmobile and threw his cowl off his face with a strong sigh leaving his lips. He stepped strait to his computer and started researching his next case. Robin walked in slowly after him with his fists clenched and a scowl on his face as he threw down his mask.

Robin: “What the hell was that Bruce! You said that I could take charge on that mission and then you completely took over.”

Batman: “Stop acting like a child Dick, you were taking to long with your way and so I took charge.”

Robin: “Please, you didn’t want to give me a chance and you took way to many risks just like always. If you had just gave me a chance we wouldn’t have had to fight them... Hell they probably would have given us all the information without you threatening to toss them off the rough.”

Batman turned his body to Robin with annoyance in his face.

Batman: “I am the leader of this team and until I am dead or can’t do the job that isn’t going to change so except that its going to be my way.”

Robin: “Yea so much for us being partners in all this.”

Robin walked out with a tired and saddened look on his face.

Robin: “Maybe it is time for a change then....”

Night came and went just like nothing happened, Bruce walked into his dining room and sat down with Alfred right at his side with his breakfast all ready for him.

Alfred: “Would you like juice with this sir or will you have your normal cup of joe.”

He started pouring the cup of coffee before Bruce had a chance to answer him and Bruce opened the paper for a moment before realizing that Dick was not sitting at the table.

Bruce: “Alfred will you go wake Dick, if he keeps sleeping in like this he is going to get into the habit of being late all the time.”

Alfred: “Sir the young master was not in his room when I went to wake him earlier.”

Bruce raised a brow to this information and got up walking to the grandfather clock in the dining room and pulled the clock hand opening a door to the cave. He started his walked down the stairs and shouted out.

Bruce: “Dick what are you doing down here so early, You are going to be late for breakfast.”

Though there was no one there to hear his words. Him and Alfred searched the house and called his phone over and over before Bruce started to think that he had been taken by someone and started researching on the computer and looking at the security cams in the house. He found no trace of a break in but what he saw was Dick Grayson leaving the house without a word.

Dick Grayson had spent the day traveling all the way to West Cost City and by the time he got there it was the dead of night. He stood out on a rough top of one of the large building overlooking the city, looking down at his phone and seeing all the mist calls he had gotten.

Dick: “I guess its time for Robin to get out from under the Bat.”

He canceled out of the missed calls and dialed a new number in and then slowly put the phone to his ear. A boy around 16 answered the phone.

Person on the phone: “Yea?”

Dick: “So you still planning on leaving G.A? Because if you are I am at the drop point.” Speedy: “Well well! I see you finally came to your sense about Batman and Arrow always having it their way then. Ha!! I will be there soon.”

The phone clicked and Dick smiled as he looked out over the city and waited for his new partner to show up.
