Enhancing Online Presence
Tumblr media
As the school year comes to a close, I can't help but think back on the amazing  things we learned in our Digital Media class. Out of all the things we did and learned, our project with The Deck Store stands out as one of the most important ones. As a group effort, we aimed to improve the business's online profile through planned actions, focusing on the fascinating field of SEO. The Deck Store project, which I worked on with colleagues, taught me a lot.
One of the most interesting things about this project was the chance to use what I had learned in the classroom in real life. We didn't just learn about digital media techniques; we also worked with The Deck Store to understand their problems and find solutions. Through this hands-on method, we were able to fully grasp how difficult it is to create and keep an online presence in today's competitive world.
As we worked on the project, one important thing stood out: how important it was to study our community. It was very important for us to know the demographics, tastes, and behaviors of The Deck Store's ideal customers in order to make our marketing campaigns more effective. Through in-depth study and analysis, we learned a lot about the wants and needs of the target audience. This helped us create material that would interest them and get them to interact with it.
The focus on multi-channel marketing tactics was another great thing about the project. In this digital age, people connect with companies on many different channels, such as social networks and email messages. We created plans that included many digital platforms because we knew how important it was to have a constant online presence. This way, we could make sure that the message and branding were the same across all touchpoints. We wanted to make The Deck Store more visible and reach more people by using sites like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to connect with current and future buyers in a useful way.
Overall, the Digital Media class has been a valuable and enjoyable experience. There are many useful things we've learned, like how to analyze a group and use multiple marketing channels, that will help us in the future. As the term ends, I'm excited to use what I've learned to improve companies and groups' online presences in the constantly changing world of digital media.

The Importance of UX in Advertising
Tumblr media
Welcome back, Folks! This week's post will deviate somewhat from the previous ones, but it will still provide a significant amount of information. Last week, our Digital Media class had the privilege of hosting a guest speaker from QGiv who spoke to us about an intriguing concept known as UX, after many weeks of in-depth discussions on important aspects of the digital world. Throughout his lecture, we had the privilege of gaining insight into the significance of user experience (UX) and its relevance to us as advertisers. So bear with me as I share with you a glimpse of what we learned.
So what is UX? Well, it is safe to say that UX is everywhere. As Indeed explained, User experience, often known as UX, refers to the process of trying to make digital resources as user-friendly as possible. Businesses may enhance their ability to sell products and attract customers by optimizing the user experience (UX) of their websites or apps. This involves ensuring that these platforms are functional, informative, and visually appealing. In a world that is heavily influenced by technology, advertising is among the several industries where the user experience (UX) plays a vital role in achieving success. User experience (UX) refers to the emotional and cognitive response that individuals have while interacting with a product, service, or platform. It has significant importance as it influences users' thoughts, actions, and ultimately impacts a company's financial performance.
Effective user experience (UX) is essential to every advertisers in the business. The objective of effective user experience design is to enhance the appeal and ease of interaction with online ads, hence increasing the likelihood of customers making a purchase. By prioritizing user experience, marketers may establish a more profound connection with their intended audience, thereby fostering more brand loyalty. Enhancing the effectiveness and influence of advertising campaigns may be achieved by implementing a carefully planned user experience (UX) that distinguishes itself from competitors, effectively communicates the intended message, and inspires individuals to engage in the desired activities. If you want to learn more about ways in which UX plays a role in advertising, LinkedIn has a good article explaining in depth in what ways your company or brand can use UX to the best of their ability.
This look into User Experience (UX) has shown us how important it is in advertising, especially now that the world is so tech-hungry. Our QGiv guest speaker told us that user experience (UX) is more than just a word; it's a key factor that affects how people interact with digital resources like ads. See you next week for more digital media content!

Insights from Bake More Pies
Tumblr media
Welcome back, folks! This week’s post will be a little different than the others but still a lot informative. After weeks of discussing key elements to the digital world, this week we took a step further and went to a real world advertising agency. For this week my Digital Media class had the opportunity to visit one of the advertising companies here in Tampa called Bake More Pies. During our trip to the office we were able to learn some more key elements important to any advertiser in the field or future advertisers who are thinking of joining the industry. So let’s discuss some important elements that we learned this week.
One important thing discussed in our visit to the office that is really relevant to us advertisers is the use of lead magnets. But what is a lead magnet? According to Hubspot, it is considering one way to attract potential customers. It's essentially a long resource that you provide in exchange for their email address. They may take many various shapes and forms, such as digital items like ebooks, whitepapers, or templates. First, determine who your target audience is and what they want, and then build your lead from there. If you can generate high-quality leads for your company, you may not only enhance your connection with clients, but also make them desire more. It is critical in advertising to have a positive and balanced connection with your customers and target audience, which is why this aspect is so important to any agency or firm in the sector.
I was not familiar with the phrase customer relationship management (CRM), which is another significant feature that we discovered during our visit. Customer relationship management is what this word refers to. Essentially, the purpose of this word is to establish and cultivate connections with the people that make up your audience or clients. The question is, why is it of such great significance? The fact of the matter is that we, as advertisers, are well aware that advertising is all about establishing and sustaining positive connections with our customers. According to ActiveCampaign, One of the many reasons why customer relationship management systems (CRMs) are so significant in the area of advertising is that they enable your firm to tailor the experience that you provide to your customers. Additionally, CRMs are an excellent method to improve client engagement with your agency, and they may also assist in the generation of quality leads. If you are interested in learning more about how to utilize customer relationship management systems (CRMs) to your advantage, check out the website from Active Campaign. They did an excellent job of describing how to incorporate CRMs into your advertising plan step by step.
In conclusion, having the opportunity to visit Bake More Pies allowed us to get priceless insights into critical factors that are essential for advertising. Through the provision of useful resources in return for contact information, lead magnets have turned out to be an indispensable instrument for the cultivation of customer connections and the promotion of engagement. In a similar vein, having a grasp of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and putting them into action may improve customer experiences, engagement, and lead generation. This further emphasizes the need of cultivating deep ties with our audience in the always shifting environment of advertising.

The Importance of Goals and Objectives
Tumblr media
Welcome back, folks! Now that we've covered the fundamentals and significance of digital media, I believe we're all prepared to talk about the two most crucial parts of digital media work: goals and objectives. Having goals and objectives in the wild and wide world of digital media is what makes you and your business stand out; it gives you an advantage over your competitors. No matter your level of digital marketing skills, understanding the significance of these factors may significantly impact the effectiveness of your advertising and overall strategy.
First, let's define these terms so we can get into why they're so important in the digital realm. According to Forbes, goals are the big picture, long-term dreams for your company, while objectives are more specific, short-term, and measurable. Achieving your overall objective might be facilitated by a multitude of smaller goals. This structure not only helps in coordination, but it also ensures that all strategies and initiatives are consistent with the overall business strategy.
How then do they have significance? To begin with, when we speak about goals and objectives, we may state that they are the way you want to go. In times of darkness, they shine a light. Anyone can join the internet, which makes it a potentially scary place, as we've been talking about for weeks. Without clear objectives and goals in mind, it might be challenging to make one's way across such a large landscape. It's as if you're walking along in the dark and hoping that things would become clearer for you.
You may also use objectives and goals as benchmarks and a guide for your corporation and business. Take the hypothetical case of a small internet shop that wants to boost its sales. A lack of clear goals and objectives could lead them to try several things before finding what works best. On the other hand, a well-defined goal, such as "increase website visits by 10% in the next two months," might be useful. They may use this goal as a measure to see how well their efforts are doing. Despite that, however, objectives are a great way to track important measurements, such as the amount of website visitors or product purchases. This type of activity is called a key performance indicator (KPI). Marketers can see what's going well and what needs to be changed when they set goals.
Finally, they are a significant tool for measuring your company's performance and exposure in the digital world, in addition to directing and assisting businesses and corporations. We may argue that these two crucial components can serve as a source of inspiration and encouragement for those who dedicate themselves to this field. Achieving a goal or objective that you and your firm have set out for yourself is a terrific way to validate your efforts and motivate you to keep pushing forward.
See you next week!

Balancing Metrics and Human Connections
Tumblr media
Greetings, everyone! After talking about a lot of different things in the world of digital media in the last few posts, this week's talk will be a little different. Today's fast-paced world requires people to be willing to keep learning and be able to adjust to new situations in order to keep up with the world of advertising. I'm lucky enough to be taking a class in digital media this term. We've been learning some useful things about the digital world in general. In this week's class, the instructor focused on two significant aspects of advertising: the power of data-driven metrics like cost per thousand impressions (CPM), cost per thousand impressions (CPA), and cost per thousand words (CPM); and the lasting effects of personal contact through resumes and letters. I learned the basics of how to combine digital data with real human connection in this class, which will help me in my future job as an advertising professional.
Although I had a lot of experience with CPM over the years, I was still not fully sure when it came to the CPA model and ROIS. As a consumer, you can think of CPA as the person who breaks down and figures out the prices of everything you do, like buying something or signing up for a service. In addition, it focuses on real results rather than just views or visits. In an article published by AppsFlyer, the author does an excellent job of outlining the significance of the CPA pricing model as well as the essential keys that you need to be aware of in order to learn this concept and be prepared to implement it. On the other hand, ROIS tracks the return on investment from different social platforms in order to study how well advertisements work on these social media sites. For example, ROIS tells you how much of an effect your content had on people.
But that’s not all! We also talked about more than just fancy measures in our last class. We also talked about how important human connections are in the realm of advertising. Do you think that resumes and handwritten letters are old-fashioned? Well, you are wrong! Everyone is trying to get noticed and stand out online, but a letter or a note from the heart or a carefully put together resume can help you stand out in the middle of a sea of people. If you want to learn more about the importance of handwritten letters, SimplyNoted did a great job explaining the impact it can have on your career and how you should apply it from now on.
Finally, knowing how the advertising industry is continually evolving and the significance of strong interpersonal and numerical skills is essential. You can improve the effectiveness of your campaigns by familiarizing yourself with metrics such as CPM, CPC, CPA, and ROIS. But human relationships, such as those formed through resumes and handwritten letters, can also help you create bonds with your audience that will endure forever. If you want to make it as an advertiser, you need to master both of these facets.
See you all next week for more about the digital world!

Dunkin "The DunKings" Super Bowl Commercial
Tumblr media
Hi everyone, welcome back! Following multiple discussions on significant issues and fundamentals of digital media, this week's discussion will focus on something a little bit different. This past Sunday, February 11th, the Super Bowl took place. It is one of the most watched events in the US. A lot of people watch the game and the halftime show, but it's also safe to say that a lot of people watch the ads during the breaks. As a student who is studying advertising and public relations, I feel like I need to talk about how these ads affect society and culture. Ads during the Super Bowl aren't just any kind of ads these days; they're part of a bigger culture trend. Businesses spend a lot of money on some media in the hopes that it will make an effect that lasts.
One commercial that stood out to me during the Super Bowl commercials was the Dunkin Donuts “Dunkings'' featuring Ben Affleck. In a new ad for an iced coffee drink that will be available on Monday, Ben Affleck attempts to win over Jennifer Lopez, who is his business partner. The commercial features Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Tom Brady going against the advice of rapper Jack Harlow and creating a band under the name of "the Dunkings." The commercial for Dunkin' Donuts that was shown during the Super Bowl is unique in terms of its chances for success in the world of digital media for a number of reasons. Among the many reasons this ad will stick in people's minds is the inclusion of such famous faces in the campaign, which attracted the interest of viewers of all generations and created a buzz.Parts of the commercial were uploaded to TikTok before the Super Bowl, drawing attention from all around the US because of how easy it is to do so. Thanks to its ability to include well-known celebrities in engaging, but brief, tales, the brand is able to stay ahead of consumers' thoughts in the competitive digital world.
Another important thing about the ad that makes it so popular online is that it mixes comedy and drama into one package. Creative work went into making the ads fun to watch and easy to share across platforms. Advertisements that talk about important things like friendship make them much easier for people to remember. You can easily remember the ad because it has a catchy song and an interesting story. When there is a lot of stuff available online, this helps it stand out from others. Ads for "Dunkings" are easy to remember, even when they are smaller. Businesses usually have a hard time making material that people remember, but Dunkin' Donuts' Super Bowl ad does a great job of it.
For those who want to learn more about the big wins that came from the "Dunkings" Super Bowl ad, Cinemablend has an interesting look at how it affected things after the event. The piece does a great job of explaining a few important things that happened after the Super Bowl that had a big effect on the commercial's success.

The Benefits of Being an SME in Digital Media
Tumblr media
Welcome back, folks! For this week's assignment we are going to touch on an important subject when it comes to the realm of digital media which is the so-called SME. We have been discussing through the weeks the constant change in the technology world and how hard sometimes it is to keep up with all these changes and development of the digital environment, so in this post I will discuss the importance of SME and how beneficial it is for the Digital Media.
Every day, the digital world changes, that much we all know. New tools, methods, and trends are always coming out because things change so quickly in this field. Small and medium-sized businesses, or SMEs, are becoming more and more important in this scenario. Even though big businesses have their perks, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) also have their own unique benefits that help them do well in the digital media world. First, let's talk about what SME is. Then we'll talk about how and why SME can be useful in the digital world.
By definition, SME refers to "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises." Not to be associated with huge companies, they are more smaller businesses. They have a lesser workers and income compared to the biggest companies. One reason SMEs are important is the unique value they provide, such as the capacity to quickly adjust to new circumstances. As previously stated, not every company has the benefit of being able to adjust to the ever-changing digital world. In addition, they are able to give personalized assistance and focus on each customer's unique needs. One intriguing thing about SME is the fact that it can take shape in multiple ways in different countries. Before digging in, Ivestopidia does a fantastic job of outlining some of the crucial information you need to know about how SMEs operate in various regions of the globe. In sum, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are crucial in the modern digital economy because they provide fresh ideas and help keep the sector diverse and dynamic.
Perhaps you're wondering how SMEs can be so useful. For starters, there are a few perks to being a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the modern digital media landscape. The first is a high level of flexibility and quickness to adjust to any kind of change. Operating in large corporations often involves several moving parts, and it may be challenging to adjust to each new development. One additional perk is that SMEs-optimized businesses tend to be customer-centric, which brings the brand and its staff much closer to the target demographic. When it comes to content, SMEs often focus on a certain sector or genre. Focusing on certain target segments and media types helps such firms stand out.If a small firm can establish itself as an authority in its industry, it will be in a prime position to assist customers who need highly specialized guidance. Be sure to check out PandoraFMS if you are interested in gaining further knowledge on the benefits of working for a small or medium-sized company (SME). They do an excellent job of showcasing the benefits and methods for workers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Through the offering of helpful information and tools, they assist small companies in achieving success in their specific areas.
Stay tuned for more updates from the digital media realm next week!

The Importance of Strategy
Tumblr media
Welcome back, everyone! Amidst the chaos of the online world, this week we will be discussing why it is crucial to have a digital media strategy. To effectively connect with an ideal audience nowadays, companies need to have a strong and consistent presence on digital platforms. As more online platforms come out, the battle gets tougher, forcing businesses to come up with good ways to stand out in the digital chaos. That's when putting the plan into action becomes very important. Finding success in digital media requires understanding the importance of strategy, no matter if you are a famous person, a director of marketing, a company owner, or a social media director.
Returning to our previous discussions, when thinking about digital media, we often associate it with the many methods of sharing information online and consuming it via electronic devices. However, as the influx of information surges into the internet at a staggering pace, we are confronted with an immense volume of stuff that is at our fingertips. Thus, having a well defined strategy is even more important. Before delving into the significance of owning a digital media strategy, it is essential to comprehend its definition.
Do you want to know what a digital media strategy is? The term "digital media strategy" refers to a well-thought-out plan for how an organization will use digital platforms and methods to reach its communication and marketing goals.According to TechTarget, It is a way of thinking about how to get the most out of businesses' data tools and technology driven projects.Digital strategies are usually made up of short-term strategies that are updated every month and are in line with the company's realistic and measurable goals. This method has several parts, such as creating content, distributing it, picking a target group, putting contact strategies into action, and judging how well the content worked.Because of how quickly the internet is changing, this supposed approach aims to make digital media projects more useful and effective.
Now, let's talk about why it's important to have a strategy in digital media. A plan is like a key that opens the way to success. Finding the right place for your content, learning how to get your audience involved, and getting used to how the digital world is always changing are all important parts of the digital world. Being without a strategy is like trying to open a door without a key. You will have to hurry to keep up with the competition, and you might miss out on good chances to connect with your audience and reach your objectives. Linkedin does a good job of showing why digital strategy is important by listing its five main benefits. Some of these benefits are better conversion rates, more trust in the company through online contacts, more growth potential through low-cost marketing, and mobile users who are associated.  By tracking conversion rates in real time and making changes to their marketing strategies when they don't have a lot of money, businesses can reach more people, make more connections, and stay ahead in the digital market, which is always changing and growing.
In conclusion, the constantly growing digital world requires businesses to build a strong online footprint and use smart strategies to deal with the growing competition. A clear digital media strategy is the key to success for individuals as well as companies. It guides the making of content, interaction with consumers, and how to adapt to the constantly changing digital world. See you next week for more!

The Importance of Buying Personas
Tumblr media
Hello folks, welcome back! This week's blog post will focus on the concept of buying personas and their significance in the marketing field, particularly in the context of digital media. As previously mentioned in the last blog post, digital media offers a large online community that offers a wide range of prospects. In the dynamic realm of digital media and marketing, comprehending your audience is the crucial element for reaching success. The development of buyer personas has emerged as a crucial instrument for marketers around the world.
What exactly is a buying persona in the realm of digital media, you ask? Let's say that a buying persona is creating a character that reflects your ideal customer. It is a detailed description of what a perfect customer to your brand is. It is not only about demographics; you are also describing their behaviors, goals, desires, challenges, personality, lifestyle, interests, and even their career. But, isn’t it the same as the target audience, you may ask? The answer is no. Even though these two terms are very familiar they are very different from each other in terms of specificity. While target audience refers to a group of people you are targeting, the Buyer Persona refers to a specific description of a person within your target audience. In other words, the buying personas make your target audience.
In the expansive realm of digital media, locating your target audience might prove to be an overwhelming task, which is why developing a buyer persona has such significance. They serve as your most valuable companion in navigating the complexities of digital media, guiding you directly to your target audience.Through the utilization of precision targeting, your marketing efforts are focused on certain audience groups that have the greatest significance. Marketers can boost their advertising targeting by using buyer personas to guarantee that their advertisements efficiently reach the desired demographic. This strategy not only optimizes the use of advertising resources but also improves the overall user experience by offering them important information. You are not simply speaking without careful consideration, but addressing an open audience who will actively interact with your message.
Huble has created an informative post for anyone who is interested in exploring the complexities of buyer personas and their crucial significance in the digital media industry. If you are looking for an article that not only analyzes the importance of buyer personas but also offers an in-depth guide on the necessary procedures and research required to become skilled in creating personas for your company HubSpot did a great job dividing and explaining all the important and necessary steps to success.

Exploring the World of Digital Media
Tumblr media
Hey there, fellow nerds that like exploring digital media! I'm Barbara Bellagente, and I hope you'll all stick around for some digital media-related posts and discussions on my blog. Although I have been in close proximity to technology since I was a little girl, I was unaware of the profound impact it would have on the way we view the world. Digital media is an integral part of our daily lives in today's digitally developed culture. It lets us stay in touch with loved ones through social media whilst watching our favorite TV shows on services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus.
In my opinion, anything that can be played on a computer, seen on a phone, or sent via email is considered digital media. Everyone is immersed in digital media and everything it has to offer, whether they like it or not. However, whenever I hear the word "digital media," my mind goes straight to social media, which completely transformed the global information exchange scene. Social media platforms changed the way interpersonal communication is done and helped promote the creation of content, both of which are essential in today's digital age. The fact that social media platforms facilitate the easy sharing images, videos and even texts is what really stands out to me; because in turn, it all encourages more individuals to become engaged participants in the broad digital world.
Although seeing the growth of the digital media industry is exciting, it can also be overwhelming in a way. As with any new concept, more questions will emerge as you learn more about digital media. For example, does the growing volume of internet material have a negative effect on authenticity? How accurate is the information being communicated? What is the influence of using digital media on privacy and the security of personal data in relation to social matters? Has digital media had an overall beneficial impact? What moral dilemmas emerge when artificial intelligence is used in the production and dissemination of digital media?
Given the expansive and ever-changing definition of "digital media" over time, it is crucial to focus on gaining basic information in the face of many questions. Using reliable websites is essential for gaining further knowledge on these subjects. The Electronic Privacy Information Center is a very reliable and comprehensive resource for obtaining information regarding privacy concerns pertaining to user safety in online platforms. If you have a curious nature and a strong interest in delving into the complexities of the digital media domain Indeed has released an enlightening essay that elucidates the importance of digital media, supported by a wide array of examples connected to vocations and talents in the field of digital media. Additionally, Maryville University has an extensive webpage that contains intricate details regarding various types of digital media and the main companies operating in the digital media sector.
