Today during class I finished reading Blood of Olympus and now I need to wait like a week to get the Hidden Oracle because I don’t have it yet but this is like 10 books since the beginning of March

So I went to the bookstore today, initially looking for 3DS games. What I ended up buying were not 3DS games.

So I bought the first five Percy Jackson books. I read the Lightning Thief in around five hours. New hyper fixation unlocked, I blame the musical and my school because that’s the musical we’re doing this year and it’s FUN

Goosebumps the Musical

(Super duper spoiler warning for the entire musical btw)

So I’ve always thought that the fact that the songs reuse melodies is super interesting. Watch Your Step uses some of the melody from the main Goosebumps song; Whodunnit? has the main goosebumps song and I think a little bit of Story of the Phanrom; My Story uses The Legend and Babbling Brooke. It’s super cool.

Another thing that’s interesting is in Babbling Brooke, Brooke comments that Brian’s eyes are green (“those eyes, so green”) and what’s cool is that in the album cover behind the mask you can see a green eye specifically.

Also Brian just throws out some heavy foreshadowing during Babbling Brooke. “Am I new? Oh! Yeah I’m new, well old and new” as a reference to him being dead but he came back from the dead, and he’s both new and old to the school because he used to go there and then died and now goes there again. He also says “and the more that they see right through me” because he’s a GHOST and ghosts are TRANSPARENT!!!
