Hi there. Can you please help me out? I've been trying to look for english subtitles for Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon but I can't find anymore. I watched the first 100 eps and I'm so obsessed! lol. Would really appreciate any help :)

aye, it is an addicting show. 

But sadly I can’t find any either. The few sites i knw had english subtitles all shut down :)

my best suggesting would be if you read the written updates on India forums or somewhere and rewatch the episodes on hotstar

Why you should watch Ek Duje Ke Vaaste:

It, by far, is the most realistic show I have seen on Indian Television, there are problems, but realistic ones that are solved in realistic manners. The show is written exceptionally well, all the characters have shades, no one is perfect or a “villain”. Everyone has a believable motive behind their actions, even when the supposed “villains” act, you feel for them.

The two leads were childhood best friends that lost each other for a while, they are angry with each other, but you can tell how much they mean to each other because they go to great lengths to help the other. And it’s realistic, they don’t go from not talking from ten years straight to falling in love with each other, they build their friendship. Their romance is not falling into each other’s arms all the time, and staring at each other but through their actions, often subtle yet more touching than anything I’ve ever seen. 

Everyone in the show accepts that the leads are best friends and doesn’t bat an eyelash or say anything about their closeness. She can be sitting on his bed taking care of him and no one finds it out of place. Their relationship is so beautiful. The writers don’t need to find elaborate ways to make them stay together (i.e. the whole forced marriage thing) because they literally get up and go see the other when they want.

The show is literally based on parallels, everything connects so seamlessly. You know those shows that you watch where they completely forget what happened like ten episodes ago, this one has been so consistent since the beginning. They close all the loops so beautifully.

The female lead is an independent, self-sufficient woman. She runs her own business, successfully, and the show keeps showing her at work and dealing with her problems. She doesn’t stop working when the guy enters her life and spend her time longing for him instead.

The male lead is so confident and sexy, yet vulnerable. He isn’t perfect, and the CVs go to great lengths to show it. 

One thing I hate about Tellywood is misunderstandings that could be easily solved by talking. With the leads of this show, whenever something goes wrong, they talk, they listen to each other, apologize and tell each other the truth. It’s a blessing.

Don’t even get me started on the actors, they’re all wonderful. From the leads to the cameos. Everyone emotes so well. The leads have fabulous chemistry, and they emote so well that I literally feel like I am feeling the emotions they are experiencing.

Literally watched the first few eps of ek tha and deffo not a gripping show and I've watched all the others 😂😂 cept the last one you mentioned so thankyouuuu I will try it!!

Hi! I was just wondering you know ek tha raja is it all lovey dovey between the mains because I can't stand that and do you have any recommendations like ipkknd I've seen this rangwali gif is that good??

Honestly, I have only watched the first two episodes of Ek Tha Raja and I did not like it at all.I wouldn’t say its “lovey dovey” cuz it starts the same boy hates girl etc etc but its not a grasping show imo. You might like it, I usually give Indian shows 5 episodes before coming to a conclusion.

If you liked IPKKND, I would immediately recommend Geet and Kitani Mohabbat Hai season 1(I started watching this now and the first few episodes  and eh but it gets good later) kukum bhagya is pretty good

Mere Rang Mein is def a good show and from what’s on right now Ishq Ka Rang Safed(its the only tellywood show I follow rn)

Watching IPKKND Online

My inbox is full with the question “where can I watch IPKKND?”. So here is a little resource list I guess?

I have a link that works from Episode 21 onwards, episode 1-20 do not work for some reason. But just insert the episode number where I wrote “INSERTEPISODENUMBERHERE” and it should work!  If you don’t live in India, change your app store country setting in iTunes to “India” and download the “HotStar” app, all the episodes are on there in great quality! You just have to search “Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon” using the search feature and you’ll find all the episodes. 

There are still some links that work, mostly the videoweed ones or flash ones, on either DesiTvBox, DesiTashan, DesiRippers and such, but they aren’t the best quality, the top two options are better.

Beg someone who was smart enough to download all of them to dropbox them to you! 

 If all else fails, just sit and cry.

Hi! Old shows are super hard to find unfortunately. If you get lucky some of them are on youtube, I believe Set upload them on there now. Same with Zee.That’s the official ones, some fans have also uploaded to their channels depending on the show/channel.

Aapkacolors and Star are the hard ones. Star is all hotstar now so any old or new show on that channel will be on that site, they have taken down videos on any other site. I believe aapkacolors is the same way,most being on either their youtube or website.I would think best thing to watch them is to download a vpn or Hola. Set it to India or another country n all of the videos will be available to you
