Yes so happy to hear that you’ve got so many plans for it and that you’re aiming for some type of schedule! I understand liking to have things written in advance before you start posting, and if anything it’s a relief to hear that you’ve got plans and are writing, and have other WIPs in progress :) Because too many lovely fics get abandoned and I see why, I’m sure I’ll love whatever you have in store and I’m happy you are enjoying writing it too :))

This fandom reminds me of ATLA and I only hope this gets at least a season 2 because I haven’t felt this strongly about a show in awhile. You’re absolutely right- there’s so much to play with especially because the characters are such fun, there’s a lot more to explore that the show hinted to in season 1 as well. But I love AU’s and these characters would be beautiful in so many of them.

I can relate to that- so many big fandoms with such a variety in stories, I just want to see anything and everything so that we explore these characters in all sorts of moments. Hurt/comfort- couldn’t tell at all haha ;) But that must mean I’m a sucker for them too! Monster of the week fics are always a joy to read as well and even just long one-shots exploring a certain idea/theme...especially the fluffly ones! I like that from Hangryeowyn :) 

Currently (trying) to write a Monkey/Tripitaka Royalty AU and I just wanted to connect with my favourite writers of this fandom, thank you so much for your response! There’s too many ideas haha

I've read all your works on Ao3 several times and love them so much! I was wondering how often you plan on updating your latest fic? (When You Give a Monkey a Mocha). This fandom for the new show is so small! What kind of fics or ideas would you like to read yourself or see more of?

I’ve got lots of stuff planned for my little coffeeshop AU; hopefully you’ll like it! I rather ambitiously and against better judgment decided that I want to do my best to upload a chapter every Sunday until this beast is done... Usually when I write things I want to complete the work in its entirety before publishing, you see. I’ve got lots of other WIPs squirreled away in my documents, but Mocha is holding all my attention just because it’s so much fun to write and I want something silly to work on at the moment.

And yes, it is a small fandom! But it’s got such a good heart behind it... and a great sandbox to play in with lore from both the show and the source material.

As for what I want to see in fics... Yes. All. Just... all of it.

In all seriousness though, I am a complete sucker for hurt/comfort stuff; don’t know if you could tell from my works. The only other thing I know how to write is monster of the week format, which I also enjoy. Domestic fluff is also a big yes in my book. But really, as my editor and executive producer, Hangryeowyn, often says, “Water in the desert.”
