Why is your OC named what they're named? Is there a different reason in-universe than out-of-universe?
#welllll#terenos is a nerevar expy#i liked the way i'd written him so much that when i moved him into being just an oc i needed something that was#just as punchy and severe as nerevar#and i felt the -nos suffix added thst graveness#in-universe he picked an ancient elven name when he transitioned because he wanted to connect with a culture#that was being erased through colonization#his birthname was probably something much more anglicized as a result of the destruction of his culture#tag game#i dont think any others have compelling names i think i either selected them for vibes or saw them on lists and liked them best#outside of shifting expy names a bit i.e. ajax -> hector#BUT yanfu & hector's kid xinyi is called that because it translates iirc to love of my heart#or similar#joy of my heart maybe#but it's because they thought they couldn't have kids so when they finally had one he was such a treasure to them 🥺

Palestinians were still suffering and dying by the thousands long before October 2023 so it makes absolutely no sense for you to bend over backwards to defend bigoted behavior towards us under the excuse that it “happened years ago” - Palestinians didn’t start suffering once you personally became aware of it. What xyz did and said in 2021, 2018, 2014, 2009, 2008, etc. still is bigoted and genocidal. Supporting Palestinian suffering is not excusable after a certain date, assholes.
