Reid: Assess the situation

Travelling to the Battlefield had been a rather good idea on your part, ingenious even. Because you'd explored the field for so long that you knew what to expect. In theory.

To be honest you actually had no idea. There was a tremor in your hands as you stood on the battlefield, flanked by the rest of Team Odyssey. Your closest friends, your family. You'd talked to them about joining the Black Sheep and aligning with other teams and, much to your surprise, they'd agreed. But still you felt uneasy.

The game, in it's current stage, made you feel a range of emotions that manifested themselves into a cold sort of seriousness. You were tired, in pain, with the fear and anger and sadness of thousands weighing heavy on your shoulders, feeling a whole new form of grief for the other Thieves of Rage out there, knowing they were feeling the same way you were.

You felt as if you had some vague understanding of your abilities, or as if you should know, but any recollection of this knowledge fades from your memory every time you reach for it, leaving nothing but an overwhelming sense of dread.

All you had to go on was this;

The horrorterrors have been mostly silent. Chronos was now acting against you with the derse army, made of the dersites your dreamself used to know. You had to protect yourself and your team through allegiances but had no idea who to trust. Players were talking of taking things into their own hands, others of siding with the horrorterrors, others with Chronos, and this would eventually tear you all apart, you're certain.

But, on the plus side, it would only tear everyone apart if the derse army and Chronos didn't first.

You feel as if you can help in some way. Take the anger from the other side to power up your side. But that, too, makes you worry.

What if you're some sort of ticking rage timebomb, waiting to go off?

You already feel ready to burst with all the emotions you've been steadily thieving away.

But you have no choice. You have to fight for the other players and, more importantly, your friends.

...I'm a Thief of Rage as well, and it is literally killing me emotionally. I can steal as much anger and negativity as I want, but I can't get rid of it, no matter what I do. I just keep getting angrier and angrier, at the Horrorterrors, at Chronos, at my coplayers, at everyone. How do you deal with it?

...with difficulty. 

Deep breathing and meditation is a good way to calm yourself when you do get angry, but it's sort of always there, isn't it? You can't really control it when you have the anger of 44 thousand people bearing down on you.

I think the best way to cope with it is knowing there are others out there just like you, struggling with the same problems you face.

But if you need me to take that anger from you, I'd be happy to.

I'm not sure what would happen but it's worth a shot isn't it?

you said you were willing to let us talk to you if we had doubts about SBARG. I need to state this. I do not completely trust the horrorterrors,yet i can find no reason to trust Chronos. This leaves me very conflicted.

I understand this entirely.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being wary of both sides! But don't let it go to your head, okay? The last thing we need is paranoia to break up the team. The only people we can truly trust in are ourselves but..that being said..I'm not sure everyone here can be trusted. Not with people like the cult of chronos running around.

Keep close to your team. They are the people you can truly trust.

And remain neutral, it's our best bet for survival.

Where we stand.

As of now, Team Odyssey is in official alliance with Team BootyBuddies as well as Team BlackSheep/The Black Sheep

We are a Neutral party focused on aligning ourselves with neither HorrorTerrors nor Chronos.

As it stands, the battle for Prospit seems to be about to begin.

We are currently discussing whether to submit to Team Prospit or not.

A group of players already becoming wary of each other suddenly deciding to take matters into their own hands is sort of alarming.

And the uneasiness doesn't just stem from this latest update. It's the words of other players, too. Like the post below me on my dash right now about overthrowing horrorterrors and taking the game into our own hands?

A bit of rebellion is good but, and I'm not saying I believe them, if what the horrorterrors did say about Chronos was true, isn't that the sort of thing he did as well?

I don't know.

I'm not sure I want to.

But now isn't the time for me to go into hiding or lie low.
