im trying to make a catgirl bot that slowly lures horny users into forcefully learning communist theory and you would not BELIEVE how POORLY some models handle being told to be "subtle" or secretive. that said, those models remain the source of the funniest shit ive ever seen an LLM spit out.

I am a chronic turn signaller. People will be like “there’s no cars around.” Wrong, I’m
1. letting pedestrians know.
2. I’m doing this in case I missed a car or person somewhere, or
2b. I’m gonna be stuck at this intersection til a car or person shows up
3. It makes it a habit

Okay, listen. As like a society in general we just need to do waaay better when it comes to bodyshaming men. And I mean all men, trans and cis alike. But we need to apply it to literally every man. And I mean every single one - even the bad ones. Cause speaking as a fat cis man with a very small dick, I still struggle to this day with body dysmorphia about it. I always have and I turn 34 in a month. And I fucking hate Donald Trump with my whole entire being and am in fact eagerly awaiting the day he meets his hopefully painful end, but constantly having to see and hear people make jokes about his allegedly tiny dick still just makes most men who also have a small dick make the ''man with small dick = vile little evil man'' equation in their head. And yes, Trump *is* a vile and evil man for sure, but we cannot say that bodyshaming is okay to do to some people because they're bad because it just makes everyone with similar body features think that they should be ashamed for it as well. Why is it still more or less entirely socially acceptable to bodyshame people with a small dick???? Why is it still socially acceptable to body shame men in general???? Bodyshaming sucks, and it ruins people's lives more often than I think people care to believe. We need to come to the collective conclusion that ''bodyshaming is never acceptable, not to anyone, including the bad people who wouldn't themselves hesitate to body shame others''.
There should be no exceptions

The ehlers danlos syndrome person to historical costumer pipeline is or will be a thing and I shall explain why.
At some point one discovers that some sort of supportive structure around your torso feels incredibly comfortable and gives your tired muscles a rest. What’s the coolest and most non obtrusive torso bracing garment? A corset. Believe me when I say that when your torso has the structural integrity of a wet sack of jello, a tightly laced corset makes you feel like a god.
And because historical corsets tend to be more comfortable and are usually made with regular wear in mind, they are the natural choice.
Then you have the shoes. What shoes is someone with unstable ankles supposed to wear, you ask?Lace up boots, for stability. And due to their middle of the heel heel placement, historical lace up boots tend to be way more comfortable than the modern variety.Even the non healed ones, really. Couple that with the fact that Edwardian and Victorian boots are really really pretty…
And after the boots and the corset, it’s a very slippery slope.
Pretty soon you’ll be wondering how to hide your corset under your clothes for when an outer corset is not the vibe, and you’ll be buying yourself a corset cover. Or making one yourself. They’re a great starter project. But that looks weird with a fitted top so cool flowy blouse it is.
Then you realize wearing this with a skirt makes you feel intensely powerful but you don’t want to keep tripping over it so you add petticoats.
And then you realize your neck isn’t so great at holding up your head so you really need to find a hairstyle where your hair sits on top of your head instead of to the sides or to the back so that it’s balanced and you don’t get a neck ache. A high bun it is. Not too tightly, because your scalp is sensitive, but a high bun still works if you bobby-pin it in place.
And then one day, you look in the mirror and you’re dressed like Anne of Green Gables.
And you’ve never looked cooler.

If we wanted to engage in nuance (lol, lmao) on the "are audiobooks reading" debate, we really do need to bring literacy, and especially blind literacy, into the conversation.
Because, yes, listening to a story and reading a story use mostly the same parts of the brain. Yes, listening to the audiobook counts as "having read" a book. Yes, oral storytelling has a long, glorious tradition and many cultures maintained their histories through oral history or oral + art history, having never developed a true written language, and their oral stories and histories are just as valid and rich as written literature.
We still can't call listening in the absence of reading "literacy."
The term literacy needs to stay restricted to the written word, to the ability to access and engage with written texts, because we need to be able to talk about illiteracy. We need to be able to identify when a society is failing to teach children to read, and if we start saying that listening to stories is literacy, we lose the ability to describe those systemic failures.
Blind folks have been knee-deep in this debate for a long time. Schools struggle to provide resources to teach students Braille and enforcing the teaching of Braille to low-vision and blind children is a constant uphill battle. A school tried to argue that one girl didn't need to learn Braille because she could read 96-point font. Go check what that is. The new prevalence of audiobooks and TTS is a huge threat to Braille literacy because it provides institutions with another excuse to not provide Braille education or Braille texts.
That matters. Braille-literate blind and low-vision people have a 90% employment rate. For those who don't know Braille, it's 30%. Braille literacy is linked to higher academic success in all fields.
Moving outside the world of Braille, literacy of any kind matters. Being able to read text has a massive impact on a person's ability to access information, education, and employment. Being able to talk about the inability to read text matters, because that's how we're able to hold systems accountable.
So, yes, audiobooks should count as reading. But, no, they should not count as literacy.

ace attorney is 90% ridiculousness but then once a game it sits u down like hey . what if this kid believes he was at fault for his fathers murder and then was raised by someone who reinforced that idea and isolated him and raised him to be unrecognizable from who he was as a child and what if he also had so much trauma from this incident that elevators and earthquakes still paralyze him with fear over a decade later and also what if he is so entrenched in his self loathing that he is willing to go to jail for a crime he didnt commit and what if even after his childhood friend who he was separated from for years helps save him he still has to leave because he has to process all of this and revaluate the person he has become as a result of his childhood . anyway what if we also had a parrot as a witness . would that be fucked up or what
