I once went backpacking with a friend; starting from a city called Sendai in Japan, we trekked to a temple called "YAMADERA", literally translated to "Mountain Temple"., a temple in the mountains.
As we got to the city of Sendai and had a look around, I noticed this pictured fellow everywhere. Oh it's that Graffit thing. Sendai does have its' own share of prominent graffiti. Long story short this is the character of a writer called SHAR. Or is this SHAR. We'll have to ask him sometime.
As we trekked out of the city and into the mountains, it got harsh and the road was closed due to a landslide. After crossing the line it was me, my friend, and the monkeys at night.
AND SHAR.
I remember trekking the destroyed road surrounded by angry monkey tribes, on top of the mountain, feeling scared, but feeling stronger because SHAR was here. He was the last one catching tags up in the mountains, and it gave me strength.
