It was cold when it happened. They fell out of a tree and barely held on to Zol. When they woke up, they were aware of their lost light. Ten has no light, no ghost, and no way to reach anyone they knew outside of Noc. Danger lurks around the corner, and fighting the slowly regrouping Fallen is more dangerous than ever. Everything is too overwhelming, and Ten tries hard to just not crack under the pressure. They fought and took down Oryx, they helped build and protect Noc over centuries. They'll be okay, right?

9) Makeup?Nope, not really. They see it as impractical and a time waster for the most part.

21) Turn-ons? Turn-offThey don’t really know? Like they don’t have many friends, and even less romantic partners so. 

25) How do they see themselves 5 years from today?Alive, and in Noc. Time is weird cause they’ve been alive for awhile so five years is a small time, but also, a very long time. Because in five years Noc could be destroyed or wiped or, but, they hope to see themself just in Noc like they always have been.

32) Thoughts on material possessions in general?They like them? Like they tend to remember their friends through material possessions. They aren’t like driven by material gain, but, they don't want to not have material possession. 

43) How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?There really isn’t any form of education, so they are just self-taught with what was available to learn in Noc. However, pre-death they were working on their bachelors in Civil Engineering.

1) What would completely break your character?Their home being completely destroyed would do that. Noc was hurt pretty badly during the Red War, but it being utterly destroyed would break them. Or Zol dying.

8) How many friends does your character have?Lol, they have like, 1 or 2. All of their good friends have died xD.

13) What does your character pretend or try to care about?They pretend to care about the Crucible for Shaxx. They really openly do not like it, but Shaxx is one of their few good friends. So they try to at least pretend sometimes to not completely hate it.

They really really like their freckles. They don’t really have a solid reason why, other than that they do.

Ten tilts their head and glances at Zol, then shrugs.

‘Tell him sure,’ Ten signs to their Ghost.

“Sure, we’ll help. We do have other stuff to do too, but our scouting report isn’t high priority so we can spare some time.” Zol floats closer to Cyril and his shell shifts a bit.

Ten adjusts their rifle as Zol pipes back up.

“What do need our help with?”

Ten was on Nessus, again, and they hate it. Fallen and Vex and Cabal? Such a joy. They turn their sparrow sharply and notice a Guardian who apparently hasn’t the Goblin lining up a shot. It is a reasonable distance away. Despite that, with quick motions their sniper rifle is out, and the Goblin is shot down. They speed over to him, and their Ghost Zol appears outside. Saying as nicely as possible, “I don’t know if you were away. But a Goblin almost shot you in the back.”

“Hm? Oh. Thanks,” Cyril said, glancing over his shoulder at the other Hunter.He was too focused on the task at hand to have noticed the Goblin on his sensors, but he wasn’t too worried. One shot was easily survivable thanks to his Ghost, though it certainly would have stung quite a bit. “What are you up to, hunter? Feel like helping me out with something?”

‘You spend more time along with them, I think. Yeah. I really am out of practice so. But I still say just be honest once you get to know them.’

{zol pipes up}

“Yeah! Well with this hypothetical person I would spend time with them and then give them some small hypothetical emotional gifts! Really just spend time with them, not creepily though.”

“So, let’s say that there’s a hypothetical person you see around the Tower sometimes. A hypothetically attractive hypothetical person. What would you do? Hypothetically, of course.”

‘Thank you, and I try my best with the weapons.’

“They said thank you and are being far to humble. The weapons are pretty well modified, and well. The rifle itself has been tinkered with quite a bit, so.”

Ten blinks at the question and turns back to look at the City. Zol gives them a gentle nudge. They give a nod and Zol speaks with a hint of hesitation.

“We um...Noc usually does, and well we do right now also. The vanguard let’s us teach some Guardians out there. But the ones in Noc are just to help rebuild...it.. We won’t be teaching for a bit.”

Ten looks up at Raisa then back down at their rifle, before nodding.

“Ten is the weapons expert in Noc, and modifies the guns we have there. This rifle is their..best one though. We’ve had it for centuries.”

Ten nods along, and Zol translates their sign.

‘A friend gave it to me.’

Zol waits to finish translating then says his own part, “They’ve personalized it a lot though. It’s a one-of-a-kind sniper rifle.”

Zol sounds proud as he says it and Ten can’t help but smile a bit. They keep a hand close to the rifle though.

“Well, it looks beautiful,” Raisa says with an Exo smile. “I can see it’s special to you. Weapons from a friend… I could see how those would mean a lot.”

Her Ghost examines the rifle curiously. “I… don’t exactly do weapon modification, but this looks really good!”

“It does,” Raisa nods. “Your town must be fortunate to have a weapons expert on hand.”

“Oh! Are there a lot of Guardians out there?” Her Ghost is the one to ask the question this time. “I mean, I know a lot of them tend to hang around the Tower… but…”

Raisa simply glances at him as he asks the question.

X for the oc thingy?

Twas “Send X to find my oc mortally wounded”. Prepare yourself y’all. Warnings cause actually its painful: Descriptions of blood, and wounds, and yeah. 

The leaves crunching under their feet somehow sound like explosions in their brain as they stumble through the woods. Everything is too loud and too dark. When did it get so dark? Is it night? Ten swears it was just day, or maybe it wasn’t. They’re not sure. They can remember Zol talking and then Fallen showing up then..nothing. Where is Zol anyway? Ten stumbles and groans quietly. Maybe he’s letting them focus. Why is everything hurting? Their entire body feels so cold and heavy. There is this drive to lay down and just sleep. That wouldn’t be smart though, there’s snow on the ground. Right? Why is the snow turning red underneath them? Did someone get hurt..?

They blink and find themself swaying, or was that the world and not them? Ten blinks a few more times and it just gets worse. Maybe they should sit down and sleep. They’re so tired... Their hand is wet, and there is no warmth to be found. Sleep seems so appealing. Why isn’t there any light? Why is it so dark?

Something chatters and screeches behind them. So far...yet too close to be good. What is making that noise? Why are they so cold? Their heavy feet continue to drag them forward and they don’t know why. To get back to Noc, they remind themself. Something smooth is in their left hand, and dry hand. It would be easy to drop it, and hug themself to be warm. But they can’t drop it. It’s important, their hazy brain shouts over and over. Protect the object, protect it with your life. They clutch it tightly in their hand and everything goes black for a split second.

They blink again and find themself sideways on the ground, in the snow. Did they fall asleep? Maybe they should keep...they’re so tired... Ten’s eyes start to droop when they shift to get more comfortable. Then the pain shoots through their body. Hot burning shocks of pain that jolts them upright and their eyes to go wide. Sitting up makes it even worse, and their vision becomes filled with large black spots. The disoriented Guardian manages not to black out again, barely. The haze in their mind clears a bit as their cloudy eyes drift downward. Any delusions are so quickly shattered by the scene in front of them. The snow in front of them is a dark crimson, with their chest and arm slick with hot red blood. There is a large wound right across their stomach. In their free hand is an unscathed and undamaged Zol, who...why isn’t he online?

Ten tries to stand up, to keep moving back to Noc. Their body feels so heavy; they don’t even move an inch. Their soul feels so empty and deep down they know they are going to die. If they weren’t, Zol would be online and they would be healed. Ten feels unwanted tears well in their eyes. This can’t be happening. They can’t be dying.
