They're sorta overlaying each other. One existence, two "void silhouettes," as Quinn puts it.

The idea of reality trying to make sense of them is interesting, though! Like in a game when two surfaces share the same position, you get what is known as "z-fighting" where the two objects flicker between themselves.

I'm having mixed feelings about Temple right now. I love everything we have seen of them so far... except the Exalted Guitar.

Overall, I like the silhouette! The double neck is really cool! My main gripe is with the aesthetic choice of making it infested-themed. In particular, the bone motifs (especially the finger bones at the heads) really gives it more of a Metal vibe over the Glamrock style that Temple is supposed to represent.

I feel like the design language of this early concept for the guitar from Kaz would have better harmonize the themes of the design:

As it is, I get the impression that Temple may be getting shoe-horned into the infested theme simply to mirror the Technocyte Coda, and perhaps the design language is being confused. Sort of like how Voruna's signature rifle was originally concepted as a Sentient weapon, but the design was repurposed as a Tenno weapon.

I really hope that they provide us with alternative skins for the guitar. Or maybe Tennogen can be used to modify the overall appearance of the guitar. It'd also be cool if they had different sound libraries, sort of like the different Shawzin.
