this is still cheesy but here's mana's 7 phases of his epitaph style poem. it also ties into how he learned about players as a whole. i don't really know how it would work.

in it there are 7 deities that brought news of impending doom (or something) and essentially save the world's inhabitants from being completely destroyed along with their world.

1: Observer (learning information, including the Impending Doom) 2: Translator (receives/shares Observer's new information and now shares the Impending Doom to the others) 3: Guide (spreads that information and the Impending Doom with the people) 4: Interpreter (notices the peoples' reactions to the information Guide is spreading, especially important in response to the Impending Doom now) 5: Assistant (helps the people reach a state where they can listen to the information, and now prepare for Impending Doom) 6: Empath (understands the peoples' reactions to information. also very important for managing fear and such during Impending Doom) 7: Mediator (helps the phases and the people understand each other re: the new information, and now sort things out when things get tangled between races/civilizations etc.)

is r:3 doomed too? did mana's phases end up holding together a game that was glitching and falling apart? that's a thought.

i don't know enough about aura's situation to expand because i haven't really done any //sign or IMOQ but. i'm sure he can find his "sister" near the end of the plot and use the line from above.

however this whole thing is very silly so idk if i should continue thinking about this lmao. i have other things to do anyway (pso2 ngs of course.)

the r/dothack server is enabling me so heres Mana, trying his best to combine as many things aesthetically attractive to other players as possible. true AI logic

it looks stupid but tbh when ur examples of "widely attractive leader types" are ovan and sakaki and u throw in things from fem models too... it's also technically an AI-generated redesign and we all know how well Those go, lmfao

someone made a huge .hack//G.U. themed creative space in pso2 ngs. i left the info at the bottom in case anyone else who plays wants to find it!

i got some screenshots with my character but with imperfect graphics (sorry)

but i didn't want to spend all day exploring mac anu (yet) so i just got hulle granz/arena and netslum/lost grounds.

still... like. Bruh! this is so awesome!

if any of you Also play phantasy star online 2: new genesis on ship 1... go look at .Haseo. 's CS immediately.

they seriously replicated hulle granz perfectly and they had mac anu below it. shino and haseo were in the cathedral, atoli was in mac anu, gaspard was also there (and i got pulled away after that.)

i should ask them if i can take screens and post them here because holy fuck it was incredible. i don't think i've ever seen a CS even remotely that good. i cannot overstate how cool it was!!

i know i lovemail everything ever, but i am completely floored by this one. yes i am still in awe just thinking about it.

(okay for context: PSO2: NGS has player housing called "Creative Space" and you get a big flat island that you can make... literally whatever you want on it. not just housing. you can look things up if you want. BUT I DIGRESS.)

November's art challenge was Nostalgia, and for me, .hack//GU is hella nostalgic! This is a scene from Volume 2: Reminisce, and not only felt super fitting for the prompt (the LAYERS here!), it's one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite Lost Grounds!

It's best boy's birthday in a few days, so I thought I'd do something special following up to it; I have a lot of sketches, drawings, doodles, and unfinished works--entirely Ovan centered--that I have had sitting in my ipad that I just never posted. I don't usually like to upload unfinished works or sketches but I'd like to start getting into the habit of it. Otherwise, they sit on my tablets and rot, and some of them are neat to look back on. Creative processes are fun to see!

Some of them are months old, others just don't have a date to really say how recent they were. Anyway, enjoy the light blog spam in the next few days as I gather all of these up and just dump them here.

Here's some more sketches! Two of these were me practicing Ovan's arm. The first one will remain unfinished, but I still like the lines on it so I'm going to post it anyway. As for the last chibi, I'm probably still going to color it whenever I'm in the mood to. A lot of smaller details that will have to be covered, makes it a bit of a chore and I have no patience currently;;

Again, never going to finish the first one but I still like the way it was turning out so I'll post it. I remember after first seeing the Trilogy movie, I was obsessed (and still am) with the design of Ovan's where the AIDA infection is completely corrupting half of his face. It was brief, but it looked COOL.

This art dump is (almost) entirely focused on Masato!

Because I can't stop drawing him as much as I can't stop drawing his Player Character. He never did get an official face reveal, so all of this is just interpretation. In my head he is cute, though.

There's a version of the first one that shows the eyes. I wasn't happy with the way they were turning out, so I censored it as a placeholder. I ended up vastly liking the placeholder version more in the final piece.
