I’m not normally one for posting pics of my kids online but look how pink she is!! This girl has never had pink lips before. We are discharged from the hospital, at a hotel for the weekend before one last checkup on Monday and if that all goes well, she will be transferred back to follow up outpatient in Calgary and we get to head home to big sissy!

Baby girl is thriving. Chest tube is removed, taking a bottle and up for transfer out of the PICU!

28 years ago my own life was saved within these 4 walls, and while I don’t remember my own NICU days, this week is one I will never forget. I am forever grateful for this building and everyone in it.

Brand new battery in the car and hitting the road with the last little bit of sunshine! Surgery is scheduled for 8am tomorrow for Ms Lily Lou’s PDA repair. We appreciate any and all good vibes sent our way!
