I’m listening to the Greatest Showman soundtrack while I finish this, and I am CRYING! LOL Seriously, listen to “This is Me” or “Tightrope” and try to keep it together. O.o

In other news, I’m getting used to drawing on my iPad little by little, and I’ll be taking SKETCH REQUESTS as a fun way to supplement my income (since my restaurant is closed) I’ll be posting details soon for Ko-Fi requests! :D

"Good morning, strumpet"

"Say good morning to your strumpet, Henry."

“Good morning, strumpet,” Henry says, glancing away from the road to wink at the camera. He’s looking fresh-faced and relaxed, all rolled-up sleeves and soft gray linen, and Alex feels calmer knowing somewhere in Wales, Henry got a decent night’s sleep.

This is one of my absolute favourite scenes of the book for all that it shows. Henry in his element, relaxed and confident and joking around with his best friend, and he’s Alex’s center of gravity. Alex's instinct is to call him at 4 in the morning when he's stressed with his finals, and the familiarity, the banter, the comfort of this moment is special.

I was itching to draw it and although I'm not 100% satisfied, it's still very comforting for me to look at. I want to draw more canon scenes!

The Almost Kiss

I felt this need to draw Alex and Henry kissing, and this was a five minute sketch based on a reference picture that was supposed to be just that- but it grew legs and I am so happy with it.
