• Side Story 4 •

Pairings: Tetsuo x Kaori/ Kaneda x Kei

Characters: Kaneda Shotaro, Kei, Kai, Mizuki, The Capsules, and Others

Summary: Conversations no one can hear or know except Tetsuo and Kaori

Genre: Fluff and Sweetness

Everyone was hanging out, but instead of hanging out at Kaneda’s place. They all decided it’ll be nice to go somewhere fun out in Tokyo, with not many people or crowds.

It took a lot of convincing and using Kaori to get Tetsuo to agree to the idea. He knew being holed up in a house for so long can be boring and suffocating.

And Tetsuo doesn’t like wearing his Kabuki mask for to long, it can be hard to breathe in it sometimes. Because it seems like they’ll be out longer than he wanted.

But he reminds himself to do it for her, because she deserves a different scenery every now and again.

They all got dressed and the guys rode to there destination.

“So where is this place you’re trying to take us to Kaneda?” Kai asked.

“You’ll see.” Kaneda smirked, leading the bikers. They finally made it and everyone looked up at the sign.

It was an outdoors onsen, one of the most popular ones.

“An onsen?” Tetsuo looked at Kaneda under his hood.

“Yeah, Kei and I one these awesome onsen tickets, at an event we went to. Also with great food mind you.” Kaneda grinned.

“I thought we needed to be somewhere with less people?” Mizuki added.

“It is, these are tickets for a private booking! So it’s just us.” Kei said excitedly, because now she has a girlfriend to join her, along with certain girls as plus one that were dating one of the gangs. To cover the other tickets

In the middle of the conversation Kaori chuckled out of no where. Causing stares, she noticed and then fixed herself. Tetsuo turned his head trying not to laugh.

“What’s so funny, I wanna laugh too?” Mizuki asked.

“Nothing.” Tetsuo answered, before everyone shrugged it off and continued inside.

“What if the Owner sees… You know.” Kai whispered in Kaneda’s ear pointing behind them at Tetsuo.

“Don’t worry man The Ow-“

“Welcome To Momo’s Onsen! My name is Juju Gezumi I am the owner of this onsen, and I hope you enjoy your stay.” The owner smiled at them, they all realized that-

“He’s blind, The Owners blind Kai. So he won’t see Tetsuo. Thank you Mr. Gezumi, we most certainly will.” All of them entered.

Everyone had a designated room, it was traditional but very nice and elegant. The food would arrive once everyone was out of the onsen.

As everyone was settling there stuff down. Kaneda and Tetsuo’s room was side by side, as he heard giggling and laughing from Tetsuo’s room with Kaori.

“What the hell are they laughing at!?” Kaneda was about to check, before Kei stopped him.

“Leave them alone.”

“It’s not like I’m doing anything, I’m just curious of what’s so funny. I don’t even hear them talking, it’s just laughing.”

“Haha, why does it concern you so much. Let them enjoy each other’s company, they deserve it you know. Just like us.” Kei walked two fingers up Kaneda’s arm on his shoulder. Eventually wrapping her arms around his neck.

Pulling him into a kiss, Kaneda hugging her waist. Bringing her closer to deepen the kiss. The kids felt long but was quick.

Kaneda, Kei, Tetsuo, and Kaori were doing a couples onsen. So they four was in the same one, Kaori was very skeptical. She wanted to join but her insecurities were knocking at her door.

The towel was covering her body, Tetsuo came behind her, “Need some help?” He whispered in her ear, with a devious tone in it.

“N-No I-I’m, F-FINEEEEE!” Kaori dragged the last word, as Tetsuo pushed her into the onsen. Before he hopped in, she popped up trying to catch her breath.

Kaneda and Kei came out after, and joined them. They didn’t notice that they were arguing telepathically.

Kei sighed in relief, “This is so niceee.”

Kaori nodded in agreeance, before dipping lower. To the point only half her head showed.

The trio began having a conversation about the place and soon other things. Kaori was still not the social butterfly, so she just listened peacefully.

Then she slightly perked up, turning her attention to Tetsuo. Who quickly side eye her with a smirk, and looked away.

He was talking to her telepathically while he’s verbally talking to the other two.

Tetsuo was trying to think of something that would really get his girlfriend in a fit of laughter. Then it hit him, he waited for the perfect moment

It went into a comfortable silence for a minute. Then all of a sudden Kaori burst into a fit of laughter, to the point she even began snorting. Covering her mouth trying to restrain her laugh, she cried so hard till she had tears.

Tetsuo ended up cracking up, Kaneda and Kei looked at them in shock. Kei slightly smiled, she thought Kaori’s snort was adorable.

“You guys been laughing non-stop. Can you like fucking tell us what it is!?” Kaneda was frustrated being left out of the joke.

“It’s an inside joke you wouldn’t understand.” Tetsuo smirked, as Kaori was calming down. She started laughing again.

“T-T-Tetsuo… S-S-STOP I-It! I-I can’t… breathe.” Kaori face was red, she got of the onsen going back to there room.

“Oh how cute you think it’s funny talking shit with your powers.” Kaneda glared at him.

“Yes. Yes I do.” Tetsuo grinned wider, he eventually got out and joined his girlfriend. Kaneda was glaring daggers in his back.

“Man he is so fucking annoying.” Kaneda folded his arms. It was Kei turn to get up.

“Ha! Now you know what it’s like to live with you.” Making all three of them laugh. Kaneda rolled his eyes, hoping out as well.

“You gonna regret making fun of me!”

In the end, everyone enjoyed themselves at the onsen, and the food was exquisite.

Summary: Kaneda just fucking with Tetsuo, because he’s bored and it’s fun messing with him

Kaneda has started to realize that his his home has become a literal hangout place for people. Sometimes Kei would get annoyed with how crowded it’ll be when the gang comes.

Then chew him out for it, so he had to make something clear whenever they came over. But today everyone was busy, except Tetsuo.

He asked if he could come over to help him with something(which was a lie). Suprised Tetsuo agreed and came over anyway, not without bringing Kaori.

Which he didn’t mind that much, as she was a good friend to keep his lady company.

“So what was this thing you needed help with?” Tetsuo asked sitting on the couch. Kaneda joined him.

“Nothing.” Kaneda smiled goofy with his blunt response.

Kaneda can see the gears turning in Tetsuo’s head. From his confused face expression, that was slowly about to form into anger.

“Waitwaitwaitwait… Before you get angry, as I’m wasting your time. I did want to do something with you.”

Tetsuo huffed scrunching up his face looking up and down at Kaneda. “What then?”

“Sooooo, you can read people’s mind unintentionally right?”

“Yeaaaaaa…?” Tetsuo was becoming confused mixed with frustration.

“I was just curious. BUT anyways I just wanted us to hangout and watch this new movie I bought.” Kaneda gleamed, Tetsuo was still confused but shrugged it off.

“O-Okay.”

Kaneda set up everything before putting in the movie. As they were watching the movie, Kaneda side eye glanced him before looking at the tv again.

‘I wonder what it’ll be like to only communicate in your head? We wouldn’t even have to move OUR LIPS!’

Kaneda started talking loudly in his head, it was clear Tetsuo can hear his thoughts. As he twitched his hand.

‘I bet Tetsuo don’t even know what’s going on and already on the verge of yelling. I wonder if I yell in my thoughts would that bother him?’

Kaneda was still smiling to himself while looking at the tv. Kaneda speaking loudly in his thoughts were irritating Tetsuo.

Although Tetsuo knew what game he was playing, and he was not going to give in to his idiocity. So he ignored him.

It was going well for a little bit, before Kaneda did this unholy scream in his head. Tetsuo quickly turned to him aggravated. Kaneda burst into a fit of laughter holding his stomach.

“WHAT DRUGS ARE YOU ON!?” Tetsuo stood up, his head fuming.

‘Aww what’s wrong am I THINKING to loudly for you’

Kaneda was wiping tears from his eyes.

Tetsuo gritted his teeth, at him

‘I’m sorry let me think a little quieter hahaha’

That’s when Tetsuo tackled him, and started wrestling each other.

1 hour later

Kei and Kaori looked at the boys bruised up. She looked at them with arms folded.

“Should I even ask what happened?”

“Not really, but it was so worth it.” Kaneda grinned at Tetsuo who gave him a final punch before walking away.

What the gang look like older together in the fanfiction “TETSUO” on AO3

5 years passed sense the incident with Tetsuo and Akira. Now Tetsuo has returned and with Kaori. There return shocks many especially his friends.

Although in this one Tetsuo prefers to stay in the shadow, but certain events prevent him from doing so. With the threat of America coming to start war with Japan, with there own Espers.

It puts Tetsuo’s friends life at risk, he doesn’t care what happens to Tokyo but he does care about his friends. So Tetsuo and Kaneda, join the fight together with there friends. To stop whatever trick America has up its sleeve.

The Story has old characters and new characters. This story is really a combination of the Akira Film and Manga.

There’s so many things I want to incorporate in this story, but it’ll be SUPER long. So some will end up as side stories.

I really wrote this for myself and fun. Because I really love Akira, and despite its Incredible impact in the animation industry. There’s not much going for it as far as fanfiction. There are art pieces, but a lot are fans of Kaneda lol

Especially none with Tetsuo x Kaori, I’m a romantic kind of girl. And I really wish there more for these two. They deserve something happy, I really felt for Tetsuo and cried on the film and Manga lol.

So I’m doing tribute work to one of my iconic favorite Anime.

• Side Story 2 •

Pairings: Tetsuo x Mizuki x Kaneda(Platonic)

Characters: Kaneda Shotaro, Kaisuke, Kei, Mizuki, The Capsules, and more characters.

Summary: The Gang takes a ride down Tokyo, just to enjoy the outdoors. Mizuki ended up straying away from the gang and got caught into some trouble.

Kaneda and his gang went to the garage where they had there bikes held. Today was a nice day for the guys to go out.

Kaneda and Tetsuo’s ladies stayed indoors at his place till they came back from there ride down Tokyo. Tetsuo had put on his fox kabuki mask, before they all revved there engine.

“It’s a great day for a ride boys, and it’s also a good way to patrol the city. So no one is causing havoc on our territory, LETS RIDE!” Kaneda shouted, before all of them zoomed out of the garage onto the open rode.

The cool calm breeze hitting them and it was more relaxing than how it use to be. It was rare for Mizuki to be out with the gang. He’s glad he could be apart of something as cool as the Capsules.

Mizuki remembered he came across there leader Kaneda. When he got into a fight with a bike gang, that had jumped him. He noticed someone driving at immense speed while he was on the ground. He turned his bike, hitting one of the guys with the back of his bike.

He whistled for his boys, and they came out of the wood work. Chasing them away, some continued after them to beat them up.

Kaneda helped them and he asked if he could join there gang. Kaneda smirked at him, gestured his head for him to hop on his bike.

“You’re gonna have to show you’re able to keep up with the Capsules.” Kaneda told them before driving off to there hideout

That was a year after the incident with Akira and Tetsuo. And he’s been 4 years sense that incident, and he even got to meet his idol Tetsuo. Even though he was scared at first, but after getting to talk with him and gotten to know him more, he was just super cool.

It was really nice, Kaneda thought it was adorable how close you would stick with Tetsuo like a lost puppy. It reminded him of how Tetsuo use to be like that with him.

He was glad Tetsuo didn’t seem to mind to much, although he’s unsure still. Because he barely reacts, he wonders if he’s annoying…?

As he was coming back to reality, he realized the guys were not around. They must of left him behind while he was spaced out. He sped up and started driving around.

“KANEDA! Guys! Anyone…!?” Mizuki was beginning to get worried, he was the youngest out of the group and not that strong. As he kept looking on, he saw a group of bikers corner him.

“Looks like we got fresh meat boys.” One of the bikers laughed.

“Hey guys check it out, the lil ass is apart of The Capsules gang.” Another biker crept closer to Mizuki. Mizuki drove through a short cut to avoid them.

“GET EM VIPERS!” One of the members said, trailing him. Mizuki wasn’t as skilled as the others on the bike, and his bike wasn’t super fast.

On of the bikers caught up to him, waking him in the face with a bat. Making him swerve off the bike, and fall. Mizuki grunted and cried in pain. Holding his face and body.

The men started laughing, stopping. One of them got off the bike, he was a heavy duty guy. Trudging towards Mizuki.

The man had a knife in his hand, he smirked about to kill Mizuki. But a bike wheel grinded on the man’s face making him scream and fall back in pain. The bike curved stopping, Mizuki slightly looked up with his good eye. It was his leader and idol. The capsules began pulling up at the scene.

“M-M-Master…T-Tetsuo… K-Kaneda.”

The rest of the gang tried to leave the scene, until they stomped by Kaneda’s crew.

“Fucking with him was big mistake. You bitches isn’t going unscathed, get them and find there base!” Kaneda looked at Tetsuo.

“I’ll take care of Mizuki.” Tetsuo told him, Kaneda nodded before following his men.

Mizuki had blacked out from the pain, the last thing he saw was Tetsuo coming to his side.

An hour later

Mizuki wrapped and bandaged, he sat up slowly. Grunting he was laying in his leader’s room. The door creaked opened revealing Kaori, who had a tray with a glass of water and painkillers.

“O-Oh Mizuki you’re finally awake.” Kaori gave him a bright smile, she kneeled down in front of the bed setting the tray on the night stand.

“H-How long was I asleep?”

“Just an hour, they hurt you really bad. Everyone was worried about you… Especially Tetsuo and Kaneda.”

“M-Master and B-Boss was worried about me?” Mizuki was flustered, he felt butterflies in his stomach.

“They blame themselves for what happened, and shouldn’t have left you behind.

Kai walked in to check on Mizuki, when he saw that he was awake. He yelled out to the other guys, they all came rushing upstairs, in the room. They made way for Kaneda and Tetsuo as they sat on the bed next to Mizuki.

“I’m sorry for the trouble I caused… I should’ve pause attention…” Mizuki started tearing up, he was a very emotional kid. But he made sure not to let them fall, he didn’t want to seem weak and get kicked out of the gang.

He felt a hand on his head ruffling, “You’re good Mizuki, if anything. We should’ve checked if you were keeping up, those fuckers knew better than to mess The Capsules.” Kaneda smiled.

“H-How did you guys know where I was?”

“Tetsuo, when we realized you weren’t around. He used his powers to locate you.” Kaneda explained

“S-So I’m not going to get kicked out of the gang.” Mizuki looked up with a pout and teary eyes.

“W-WHAT! Ha No!” Kaneda waved his franticly

“Why would you, get kicked out?” Tetsuo chimed in.

“Because I’m young… Inexperienced… I feel like me being apart of the crew would taint the teams name.” Mizuki admitted, hugging his knees.

Kaneda and Tetsuo looked at each other, “Can you guys give us a moment?” Kaneda told them. They grumbled at his orders.

“GET OUT!” Tetsuo shouted and jumped at them, making the wall crack. They scurried downstairs.

“Look Mizuki, you’re no different from how all of us started off. You need opportunities to gain experience and get out of being inexperienced. Kai and Tetsuo was not that great when they started… Especially Tet-OW!” Kaneda was punched in the arm.

“What Kaneda is saying, it’ll start off rough but you’ll get better. We should have made sure you were still behind us.” Tetsuo finished, Mizuki smiled rubbing his eyes. He didn’t know how to respond so he took the risked and hugged Tetsuo and Kaneda

Who became extremely tense, definitely Tetsuo. Although they wasn’t to keen on the hug as it’s not what they do with the guys. Mizuki is a kid and very young, they sighed rubbing his back.

“Okay that’s enough of that.” Tetsuo told him, it was getting uncomfortable for him.

“S-Sorry” Mizuki smiled and chuckled.

Tetsuo heard his names called, and left Kaneda and Mizuki alone. Kaneda got close to his ears and whispered.

“Just a little fyi Tetsuo was super pissed when he heard what happened… Well we both were but He wanted to kill them so badly, but I stopped him.”

That made Mizuki smiled a bit, that they both cared for him so deeply as there team member. Kaneda ruffled his head, before standing up.

“Rest up, we have a full day ahead of us tomorrow.” With that Kaneda left. Mizuki was happy he met The Capsules.

Kaori and Tetsuo was at Kaneda’s house. They wanted to hangout for a movie night, Kei wanting them to at least relax and not stress about other events.

Kaneda was the one that had picked a movie, he thought an action comedy would be good. Of course only for him and Tetsuo to really enjoy. Kaori is more of a romantic film kinda gal, the same as Kei.

Kaori didn’t mind though, as Tetsuo would endure the romance movies she would beg him to watch with her.

After awhile he gave in, and it’s been nothing but torcher for him and him making non-stop comments on it. As well as be embarrassed on certain scenes. Which Kaori thought was cute, and just enjoyed his company.

Kaori and Kei were in the kitchen making movie snacks for them. When Kaori went into there cabinet she noticed and open box of chocolate pocky.

Kei curious on what she was staring at. “Ooh the pocky’s are almost gone. You can have some if you want.” Kei smiled, finishing the snacks.

“No it’s fine, this is yours and Mr. Kaneda’s.” Kaori was about to put it back.

Kei chuckled, “Kaori it’s really fine, honestly. Kaneda only bought those to play the pocky game with me… Which is why we’re low on it.”

Kaori thought about what she said then looked into the box. Then blushed, making Kei laugh.

“Yeah, we did it a lot. Which would l-“

“Lead to a hot steamy makeout session with Mi lady.” Kaneda popped up in the kitchen, wiggling his eyebrows at his fiancé.

Kaneda grabbed the pocky, from the box and put it in his mouth. Facing Kei with a smirk, “haha really Kaneda, now?”

“Cmon just a little, I promise it won’t escalate.” Kaneda pleaded. When Kei gave in Kaori blushed walking out with the box of pocky.

Kaori noticed Tetsuo was going through movie selections, with Kai and Mizuki. Kaori was nervous and began fidgeting with the box, she wondered if Tetsuo would play the pocky game with her.

But there’s people around, and she knew he didn’t like displaying certain affections openly. Especially around his friends, then an idea came to her but she was still nervous as shit.

She swallowed it down, and approached Tetsuo. “T-Tetsuo?”

Tetsuo looked up at his girlfriend curiously, “U-U-Um… C-Can I talk to you a-about something privately?” Kaori asked, she felt like she was about to pass out from just asking.

It seemed liked Tetsuo was staring at her hard, trying to figure out what she wanted to talk about. He saw she was holding a box of Pocky’s and then looked back at her face that was super flushed.

Ah.

Tetsuo thinks he knows what she wants, “Okay.” Was all he said, before standing up.

Tetsuo told them they will be back. Kaori had something to discussed, he told them to not disturb them. In a threatening tone, before going to the guest room upstairs.

Tetsuo locked the door behind them, and sat on the bed and watching Kaori who was idle by the door.

“Are you going to come over here, or just stand there like a fucking statue.” Tetsuo smirked, he used his powers lifting her off the ground pulling her close and on his lap.

He wasn’t going to initiate it further than this, “So what did you really want to do?” Tetsuo grinned, looking at the box in her hand.

Kaori realizing her figured out what she wanted to do. So she thought she might as well go for it, before she coward out.

She grabbed the Pocky and put it in her mouth, turning to Tetsuo with a heated face. Tetsuo smiled at how nervous and cute she was acting, as if they never kissed many times. Sometimes it amazes him how flustered she become as if she was experiencing her first time everytime they interacted.

Tetsuo took in the other side of the Pocky. Both of them, taking a bite at the same time until there lips connected. To Tetsuo’s shock, Kaori deepening the kiss trying to take control. Which was rare occasions for her.

She opened her mouth to give him better access. She slowly wrapped her arms around him, Tetsuo was caressing her waist. One hand went to slid under her shirt, the other under her sweater. Finding his way into messaging her chest.

Kaori had very supple skin, it was very soft and delicate. Compared to Tetsuo’s rough exterior, she was warm and he always enjoyed how it felt touching his skin. Tetsuo eventually breaking the kiss, so they can both breathe… Mainly Kaori, she look like she was going to past out from lack of oxygen. But looking at her eyes, she was definitely enjoying it and the makeout session got her hot and bothered.

“S-Shouldn’t we go back… T-There probably w-waiting for us.” Kaori spoke in breaths, inches away from Tetsuo’s face.

“They’ll be fine, they can wait… How about we just finished what YOU started.” Tetsuo grabbed wickedly, he pulled her back into a kiss. It was rough but then turned into something passionate.

Tetsuo took her shorts off, and grind up his hard erection on her slightly soaking panties. Kaori moaned in the kiss, her hands made her way under Tetsuo’s shirt.

The makeout session turned into something more, and they didn’t want to stop right there.

30 min later

Everyone was finally in the living room watching “Rush Hour”. Kai and Mizuki was sitting on the floor closed to the TV. Kaneda and Kei was on the couch, she was snuggled in his side, stretched out. Tetsuo and Kaori was on the chair, Kaori on his lap with a blanket over her. Kaori smiling enjoying the movie.

“Had a good talk.” Kaneda smirked at them.

“Mind your business and watch the movie.” Tetsuo retorted back quickly, Kaori just blushed and sunk further in the blanket.

Kei just chuckled to herself, from Kaori handing her an empty box of Pocky and how they would need to buy some more Pocky’s.
