Hello Mod! Do you have any tips for choosing a color palette when it comes to digital art? I'm just starting out and I feel like the colors that I chose don't really go well with each other ;-;

imma tell you to not worry about the colour, and not to worry about the fact it’s digital; what you need to focus on are tones. If you have a good solid set of distinct light gradings then the clarity will help the colour enormously (and I have used some TRULY bullshit colour combos which work because of keeping the key tonal values in mind). The best advice I can show you is this;

which is also just, super good as a guide to breaking down landscapes and Shibasaki is marvellous you should watch all his videos. There is also the colour wheel and there are lots of good guides on how to use that (complimentary and contrasting colour etc.) but before you get into that honest learn this and you can do whatever the heck you want

Halloween/Autumn Movie Masterpost - part 2

Well, it turns out I half-assed my Halloween movie masterpost, forgetting stuff that is absolutely mandatory… like Charmed and Buffy. And I deserve the hat of shame for this blunder. So this is the second part: a massive second part, which also includes a couple of things that I always like to watch in this season but don’t scream “autumn” in your face… so if you’re wondering why Men in Tights is here, that’s why; you’re welcome. And if you’ve never heard of it, you’re very welcome. xD

I read your suggestions and I swear I did a lot of research, including the long and exausting job of watching movies for the first time to see if they had to be included (oh, the torture! …xD ) Still, I’m pretty sure something was left out…
