there should be an episode of Phineas and Ferb where Doof wants to take OWCA to court for entrapment specifically because they're making him fight a platypus, a species protected by law. and Perry just kinda raised a brow and goes with it because he wants to know how this plays out / he's playing a game of chicken with Monogram because he wants. like. better vacation time or paid sick leaves or something
Doof is fully aware that Perry is Letting This Happen. i dont know i think it could be really funny

Love how there are so many instances of Heinz always offering food to Perry.
-a slice of his birthday cake in Raging Bully
-the aged cheese that Perry rudely ate when Heinz walked into another room in Lights Camera Candace
-the plate in Flopz Star where Perry made him add lots of pepper
-the hot wings and dip in Lake Nose Monster
-lemonade in Moon Farm
-mid battle tea break in Doofapus
-Just Desserts battle
-his first line in the revival involves asking Perry if he wanted a veggie plate
-was gonna pay for his and Perry's lunch in Quietest Day Ever
-Perry once broke into Heinz's fridge and his comment was 'man, you were hungry that day'.
-that one time Heinz asked 'don't they feed you at the agency?' to a random platypus he thought was Perry. He might legit think OWCA was starving Perry the whole time (and in all honestly, it's a fair assumption).
And in non-Perry examples:
-Gave Vanessa a homemade pie to share with friends for a movie night in Night of the Living Pharmacists.
-The ATSD movie where he offers Phineas and Ferb food from his buffet setup even after they accidentally destroyed his inator.

Since Dr Doofenshmirtz always recognizes Perry whenever he's wearing his hat, (even if the platypus is not in his own body) does that mean Doofenshmirtz believes anything wearing that hat would be Perry? Even objects? If you put the hat on a fridge would he be like "PERRY THE REFRIGERATOR?!"
Or if Perry has 2 hats on then would he be like " PERRY THE PERRY THE PLATYPUS?!"
Or if the hat ever gets on himself and he looks in a mirror would he assume he's Perry now and stop his own inator?
#not necessarily#hee can recognize other agents in their hats#he can tell the difference between peter the panda and planty the plant#it could be possible that it's just the overlap between the number of platypuses that are agents at OWCA#Doof can tell perry apart because he's knows Perry#I don't think he would assume that any platypus in a hat would be Perry#then again I could be wrong
