Here's my second piece for @tgcf-reverse-big-bang event!! I got paired with @the-clockwork-three and it was so much fun working with you!! I really enjoyed bouncing ideas off each other, thanks so much for choosing my art^^

Here's the fic and a little extra piece I did based off one of my favorite scenes!

Xie Lian knows the sound of a well-oiled machine when he hears one. And the pleasant rumbling that tickles his eardrums must be from one stopped right outside.

Which is odd. Only because Xie Lian usually repairs broken machines. It’s incredibly rare for an already fine-tuned engine to seek him out for help. And even if so, they are always accompanied by another that requires attention.

This machine isn’t here for a repair.

It isn’t here for him.

Xie Lian isn’t that lucky.

And yet, there’s a knock on his door.

A promise to last forever

“We will offer a marriage arrangement between you and the Crown Prince Xie Lian,” The Queen explained and Hua Cheng turned both pale and red, turning to look at Xie Lian as if everyone had gone crazy.

“Do you like the idea, San Lang?” Xie Lian asked shyly.

“But- I’m a… I’m not…” Deep down, Hua Cheng thought he should stop this from happening, stay away before he got the prince hurt again, before he sees…

“I like it.” was all he could say in the end.

After an unexpected first meeting, Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are arranged to marry for political convenience, but only time will tell if they decide to break the arrangement, or remain together, not out of duty, but for love.

Summary:

Like a planet or dirty little asteroid, He Xuan gets pulled into her gravitational pull. If Shi Qingxuan was the sun, He Xuan would gladly burn up in order to get close to her.

He Xuan is so desperately in love. It's one of those simple facts of the universe. As the earth revolves around the sun, He Xuan's heart revolves around Shi Qingxuan’s very being.

He Xuan wants to spend forever with her.

“I think I’m in love with Shi Qingxuan.”

“And you’re just figuring this out now?” Hua Cheng says, interrupting He Xuan’s spiraling train of thought. “Girl.”

He Xuan has been friends with Shi Qingxuan since they met in high school. But as time passes, He Xuan's feelings begin to grow into something more than just friendship. It used to be easy to ignore her crush, but now she can't stand the thought of going to university without Shi Qingxuan. Scared to admit her feelings He Xuan tries to keep them to herself, but some secrets aren't meant to be kept forever.

Here is my RBB piece, for the @tgcf-reverse-big-bang, who the lovely @/firstfairytale on ao3 wrote a lovely fic for! You can find their post for this on bluesky here!

Hong-er has been cursed to a younger form similar to that he took when Mount Tonglu opened(which means E-ming is with him in its smaller form as well) but his memories reverted as well, and Xie Lian must attend to the curse personally. So the god leaves Hong-er with Yushi Huang for a time, and the two grow closer.

That means some characters will have powers based on the movie (Pei Ming=lighting bolts) while others may have powers closer to their book counterpart (Shi Wudu=control water). The fic will follow along the plot of the movie with some alterations. That being said, it does retain the story inaccuracies from the Disney Hercules movie, just so you know. I thought FengQing fit the dynamic of Hercules and Meg, so I was super excited to write a fanfiction with that idea. :D

FIC SUMMARY:

What are you doing? This isn’t you. Who are you kidding? You can’t do this.

On his way to Yong-an, dressed as Bai Wuxiang, Xie Lian chickens out of his revenge. Unable to handle Wu Ming’s devotion in the face of his changing mind, he tries to force Wu Ming away from himself, and tries to get him to leave.

But, even after Xie Lian lost all his belief, in others and in himself, Wu Ming never stopped believing in him. And maybe, just maybe, Xie Lian can finally believe in someone again.

Or: Xie Lian snaps out of it before his revenge and tries to self-sabotage to get Wu Ming to leave, but Wu Ming is stubborn and loves him too much. A story of crisis, healing, and learning how to believe again.

He raised a hand to cover his mouth, attempting to swallow down the cough, but it was too late. He didn’t even have time to push past Mu Qing and out to the abandoned paths of Taicang’s hill before the petals were erupting from his throat.

Small petals today. Cherry blossoms to match Taicang. Feng Xin choked again, lips forced open by the outpouring of petals streaming through his fingers.
