You do realise that to most normies who have never been in fandom, all shipping is deranged behaviour, right? You know this, right?? You do know that even if your ship is the most wholesome and unproblematic thing possible, if you go up to your Great Auntie Barbara or Gary From I.T. or whoever and are like "oh yeah one of my main hobbies? going online every single day without fail and talking to a bunch of strangers about how much these same two fictional characters should kiss. yeah I spend HOURS of my free time drawing them kissing and writing them kissing and editing footage of the show to appear more romantic too", there's a strong chance they are going to think you are unbelievably embarrassingly cringe at best and utterly insane and worth avoiding from now on at worst, right????

Please. Please don't encourage impressionable teens and young adults to think it's okay to bring up any fandom shit at the dinner table or in the staffroom unprompted without the danger of having real social repercussions. Hot damn this is a year old!!! I'm still slowly building on this AU! I jot down ideas whenever they come to me. Unfortunately half the time it's when I'm trying to sleep 😅 but I don't want to forget so I end up forgoing the sleep oops oops!

I haven't decided how I want to start writing for this AU. I'm leaning on starting with the launch of his Voyager class starship and rely on flashbacks and story telling to dip into the world building that leads up to the journey. All for Jazz's benefit of course! Because he's a stowaway! Was hoping to steal some fancy cult relics and pawn them but suffers from a case of poor timing 😂

I want to rework this design! I still like it but I want to make some tweaks!

High Priest Prowl, leader of the Black Star cult.

Have I mentioned the AU I'm working on? Honestly can't remember 😂 While working on Prowl's ref sheet, I got the urge to work on his Black Star AU design as well!

So in this AU, some mechs (mostly Praxians) can have visions of the future. Prowl is one such mech and foresees Cybertrons destruction! Over the span of many, many vorns, Prowl searches for a solution and comes into contact with a great, cosmic being he dubs the Black Star. This entity will help. But he has to come find them and free them from their slumber.

Prowl builds a faithful following and eventually has a ship commissioned for deep space travel. He and his cult embark on a long journey into the deep unknown!

I'm really excited to start fleshing this world out, I've got sooo many ideas!
