The Sundae Best shop has opened!  🍨🍧🍦

The shop is owned and run by the Sundae Best ponies. They all make the ice cream and take turns standing in the shop. Crunch Berry (Cherry Berry) is the boss. Lickety Split is often there and can get a little cranky if she doesn’t get her ice cream fast enough.

Swirly Whirly (Butter Kiss) is having caramel swirl ice cream topped with soft serve and a wafer roll. Behind her has Banana Surprise made a banana split.

Is a HQG1C custom and is also called Jolly Treats. 

I imagine he is from the snowy pony mountains where earth ponies have adapted to the harsher climate and become bigger, stronger and gotten thicker fur. Just as the other ponies living there he is very modest and hardworking. During winter he usually helps the ponies in Dream Valley with shoveling snow and such, and his favorite time of the year is Christmas.

Saffron buns and gingerbread cookies to all of you!

”Lucia” is a scandinavian christmas tradition celebrated on december 13th. You can read more about it on wikipedia here. This year I made a proper “star boy hat” and a star staff for Magic Star and a “lucia crown” for Merry Treat.

Peach Blossom is taking a winter walk (with her glistening wings) and poinsettias are mysterious blooming around her there she goes. Maybe some flutter pony super power? 🌹

Merry Treat’s UK backcard, scanned by me. The text is almost the same as the US backcard, the only difference is that it says Father Christmas instead of Santa and biscuits instead of cookies. 

It was Christmas Eve, and the ponies were asleep in their beds, dreaming of the exciting day ahead of them. On her way to bed, Merry Treat realized no one had left biscuits and milk for Father Christmas! So she placed the snack on a table and sat in a chair to watch the falling snow. Soon, she was fast asleep, and awoke only when sunshine brightened the room. The milk and biscuits were gone, but beside the empty plate was a big candy cane with a note from Father Christmas that read “Dear Merry Treat, Thank you for the delicious Christmas surprise!” She could hardly wait for the other ponies to wake up and join her on this beautiful Christmas morning.

In my herd she is often in charge of the Christmas preparations and Baby Stockings is her daughter.

Baby Stockings (Christmas Baby Pony).

She is actually just called “Christmas Baby Pony” but she has almost the same symbol as a pony named Stockings so that’s why she often called Baby Stockings by collectors. She wasn’t sold in stores instead she was available by sending away proofs of purchases from specially marked boxes of Kellogs Rice Krispies.

In my herd she is the daughter of Merry Treat and they both love Christmas. Baby Stockings is an expert on wrapping presents and her favorite movie and book is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”.
