Lucy: Ex-heiress who was surprising well adjusted to spending, just trying to not be homeless, is so done with everybody's shit. Doesn't even have the energy to hide it anymore.

Erza: Also seems normal, but just hides it better, murdered people for strawberry cake, actually an idiot around her peers.

Today was the absolute *worst* day I’ve had in a really long time. Work was chaotic and awful, I had two mental breakdowns about two completely different things in my personal life, and my cat went psychotic and started attacking the other cat, the dog, and even me. I’m so fucking drained and it’s all I can do to keep it together. I’m so thankful for my best friend, who had to listen to me complain literally all day, but they live so far away and I just feel so alone right now.

I know this isn’t the best place to complain, but I just need to put it out into the world, and this is the only place I feel safe to do so.

I don't think many people realize how much they've been turned into a bunch of casually cynical jerks.

Someone may come to their parents and say "I want to write a book" and their parents will say "it's really hard to get published".

Someone might confide in their sibling and say "I want to sell my art on "x" platform" and that sibling will say "do you know how many people you'd be competing with? Do you know how many shops are even on that platform?"

I know a kid who once told his best friend "I think I wanna start a dnd podcast" and the friend was like "do you know what the word "oversaturation" means?"

Personally, I don't know why any of that matters? And even if it did, perhaps your response should be "Do it! Do it and see where it goes!"
