She is incredibly distorted. She looks unhinged (because she is). Not only is her eye enlarged, it's also segmented into pieces, fractured. It's illustrating her mental state. And it's so notably different from fall the other times we've seen her take aim.

For all the characters in Arcane, their weapons are part of their personalities. Caitlyn being a sniper is an illustrtion of her clear-sightedness. She notices details, she's deductive, she can use reason to figure things out.

In this shot, that's all gone. Her vision, normally so clear, is all fucked up. Not only is she in a bad state emotionally, she's also not processing things rationally.

I think it's a really cool shot that makes great use not only of the props in the scene, but also of visual language that the show has built up with Caitlyn.

This pinned tweet by Donald Trump Jr is so perfectly illustrative of our current political climate, it's unreal

First off, it's not stage five metastatic cancer, it's "Gleason Score 5", which does not say the current state of his cancer, just its potential to spread.Biden's cancer is stage 4, not stage 5. 

But that doesn't matter. If there is an opportunity to spread a conspiracy theory, they will do it. Is it possible that Joe Biden covered up a cancer diagnosis in office? Sure, fuck Joe Biden. I am not afraid to say that with my whole chest, I don't need to giggle behind my hand and say, "Let's Go Brandon!" Fuck Joe Biden. 

But actually people miss cancer all the fucking time. My friend just lost her mother who died within a couple of months of her diagnosis. And especially men with powerful careers will often put off doctor's visits, and I can imagine these same sorts of men also not fully disclosing their issues with a doctor if, say, they're forced to take physicals. A doctor cannot diagnose symptoms they don't know about. 

This is a tweet that includes an image of another tweet by Dr Stephen Quay, and for some reason this isn't a quote tweet. I found that interesting.

But I think the most egregious part of this tweet is the fact that he includes "Dr. Jill Biden". 

Jill Biden has her doctorate in education. 

Donald Trump Jr absolutely knows this. If he didn't know this before making the tweet (which I doubt), he knows now because somebody absolutely informed him (I can't see the replies to this for some reason.) And yet not only is this tweet still up, but it is his pinned tweet. He knows what he is doing. 

People who are unaware that her doctorate is in education and who have absolutely zero interest in gathering information from outside the MAGA cult will see this and be convinced of the conspiracy. Donald Trump Jr absolutely knows this. 

But if he's questioned on it by a critic, he can twist it as, "Oh, you know, I just mean she's been through school enough to have a doctorate, how could she miss this?" Or pretend he's using her full title out of respect we all know he does not have for her or her degree. (If he answers at all, ofc.)

If asked by a supporter, he can spin this as he's mocking her, he's owning the libs. 

Either way, this "implausible deniability" is so fucking ridiculous. This is how eager the United States of America is to plunge headfirst into fascism.  This should be easy to call out, but people legitimately do not give a fuck. All they care about is their team having the power to harm their enemies.
