Hello, today is a day that will be goal oriented on getting the small tasks done heading in to my finals week that starts on Monday. Current snack of choice is cheez-its for lack of motivation to cook right now.
As of right now, I鈥檝e got two days of asynchronous lectures to catch up on for one of my chemistry classes, 2 lab reports due during the week for the same chemistry class, a couple of math assignments, and three finals during the week for my math class and two chemistry classes. I鈥檓 glad that my fourth class is completely done, but the grind isn鈥檛 done yet.
I also anticipate having a late night, too, especially since I鈥檓 just now starting my day of productivity with an open-ended to do list to figure out.
Cheers and best of luck on your finals and remainder of the semester, if you still have some time left.

Hello, this is my first post so I鈥檇 thought I鈥檇 share a little bit about myself. I鈥檓 Cameron, I attend university in the United States and am pursuing two bachelor鈥檚 degrees: one in Chemistry and the other in Criminal Justice. Ideally, I would like to take those degrees and put them to use in a crime lab anywhere in the nation that has a need for a forensic analyst and/chemist.
I鈥檓 a senior at my university right now, going to attending for five years and am currently in the middle of my fourth year. I am one week away from being done with my Fall Semester for 2020, with a unit exam for one of my classes tomorrow morning and a paper due Friday night.
Looking back on my semester, there鈥檚 lots to think about as it happened during the midst of a pandemic. My class sizes were smaller, my one chem lab this semester was in person, mostly (and thank God for that one, labs are hard online), half of my classes this semester were remote until about Mid-November, now they are fully remote thru the end of finals week. I took two Chemistry classes, one math class, and one music class that was necessary for one of my Gen. Ed. requirements. And, to be completely frank, this was one of the most difficult semesters I鈥檝e had because of COVID, partly.
A few fun facts about my study habits:
- I like to drink coffee at any point of the day while I do classwork
- If I鈥檓 at my apartment, I will switch between studying at my makeshift desk for my bed (pictured here) and between a makeshift standing desk in my room, too.
- I absolutely love going to my campus library to study, it honestly motivates me a little more sometimes.
I intend to post with stories and tips of my growing experiences in university, even as I am closer to the end than when I started in 2017. And I hope to help fellow students as they are going through university with potentially similar struggles, as well.

Online classes are working for me, I鈥檓 starting to catch up on all the classes I missed earlier this semester and it鈥檚 getting easier for me. Spring has begun and the sun really energizes me! My plants also love it and my monstera is giving me a new leaf.
Please stay home if you can and be safe everyone!
