some headcanons about Trix being in school bc I just started University this week

Icy

• Has everything organised, all notebooks has its each colour for each subject

• Never shares her notes

• “Fuck school I’m done with this” still doing the assignment and turn it in on time

• Witching when she doesn’t get the highest grade

• Icy and Stormy used to gossip a lot during their first year

- she has no time for it anymore

• Praised by the teachers for her fast growing magic and that motivates her to study even more

• Isn’t afraid to snitch on the other students

- bc no one will snitch back at her

Stormy

• Steals Icy’s notes without her knowing it

• Chews gums a lot and sticks them underneath the table

• Plays on her phone during big lectures

• Keeps up with the gossip all the time; she knows everything

- she also keeps up with the latest music!

• She generally doesn’t care about school, it is a fun place to be at

- it is just a bonus if she gets good grades

• All her notes is filled with doodles

Darcy

• Steals Icy’s notes too

• Always talking about that school doesn’t matter but still want good grades

• Hates geography

• She owns a lot of magazines, more than books

- it is through the magazines she knows who to contact and they’re nothing compared to phones

• Has few friends because she doesn’t plan to keep other students in contact after she leaves school

• One time she hypnotised a student to do her homework for a month

- she had to spend a month detention when she got caught

• “And may it let be darkness” - she said that one time, that’s embarrassing

• One time someone sat at their lunch table (unwritten rule that it is their table) and they had to be in detention after ‘teaching’ the students what happens when you sit at their table

• Has snuck out of school to go to parties

- Darcy brought a book one time

- it was Icy’s school book

• Darcy and Stormy convinced Icy one time to ditch a class

- Icy still wonders what was said in that class

• Have made a lot of sabotage towards Alfea and Red Fountain for funs

- they’re not talking about it anymore

hii, i would like to get into the wix universe, where should i start 🥺?

Well to begin with, welcome to the fandom! Let me see how I can help.

There are three main components of the winx universe:

there's the show (that currently has eight seasons, in many different dubs)

the movies (three in total)

and the comics (100+ issues).

Let's begin by talking a bit about show and the movies. I'd recommend starting by watching the first three seasons, since they are the foundation for the entire Winxverse and allows you to become familiar with the characters. The first three are probably the most popular ones here on Winx Tumblr. Winx Club was initially only meant to have three seasons (+ one movie to wrap them up) and therefore I'd say these are the most important as they have the most clearly structured plots with some of the larger ones overarching all three seasons. All seasons are available on youtube on a channel called Winx Club English. If you'd prefer a different language, just search Winx Club [desired language] in the search bar and it's most likely available.

When/if you check out the Winx Club English channel, you'll find there are many dubs available. I'd personally recommend the RAI English dub as this most closely follows the original Italian manuscript. Here's a link to a playlist of season one in the RAI dub. // Season two.// Season Three.

After watching the first three seasons, the first winx film The Secret of The Lost Kingdom (Link to movie) is next in line. This movie wraps up the events from season 1-3. Season 4 follows the events of the movie, and is the last season that the OG showrunner produced on their own. It has a lot of important character growth and pivotal events, so despite being outside of the original structure of the show I would recommend watching it. Season 4 is linked here.

Following season four, the show goes in a very different direction regarding themes and tone than previously, since the later seasons were produced in co-operation with a different company, and aimed at a much younger audience. You can still watch and enjoy them, but it's good to know that they are going to be pretty different and not everybody in the fandom considers them canon. The other two movies follow the events of later seasons. I personally have not watched them, since I never really fell for the later seasons.

And then there are the comics. After watching the first season or so, I think it'd be a great time to read the comics. They are by no means mandatory reading in order to understand the show, and far from everyone who's into Winx has read them, but they're very enjoyable. The comics are set in an AU and doesn't follow the timeline and events of show very strictly. Mostly, they contain their own mini-adventures and have their own lore and backstories. They're beautifully illustrated and fun to read though, so I'd warmly recommend them. Here's a link!
