my car? it's stop motion. yeah the engine doesn't actually produce any power on its own. I have a time wizard who's always stopping time, moving my car just a little bit, and then unpausing time. it's okay he loves it, when you're that deep in time magic it's kinda the only thing that brings you joy anymore and he's completely forogtten how to exist as a human being in society

personally? i enjoy being a fan of characters who have done Wrong. i like when a character is not a perfect victim, has hurt people, has transgressed, has done bad things. sometimes its nice to feel the sting yknow? and to recognize that a character is not a flawless perfect victim, but is deserving of understanding and compassion anyway. a lot of people in fandom refuse to let go of moral absolutism and its... rough.

Personally I don’t know how anyone reads any Greek myths, particularly the Iliad and comes to the conclusion “the gods are good and worthy of my love and worship.” Seems counter intuitive. I don’t even think the Greeks liked doing that, it was more like lip service to a crime boss. They just didn’t want their gyro stands burnt down.
