TXF Updates (August 2nd)

Louis tapped his foot to the beat as Waka Waka played. (x)

One contestant sang Perfect by One Direction. Louis called it a “brilliant, brilliant version of this song.” Robbie jokingly commented that he’s always been a fan of The Wanted and Louis laughed really hard. (x/x/x/x/x/x)

Louis told a contestant (probably the one who sang Perfect) that he thinks they’re a “lil star” and kept calling them “darling.” (x/x)

Louis saw a fan’s poster, which said, “We came from Italy to support you Louis,” and said thank you and kept blowing kisses. He signed the poster and the fan’s phone case. He also kept the fan’s pen. (x/x/x)

Louis saw a group of fans’ banner and called them irresponsible. The fan didn’t specify what was on the banner. (x)

Louis took a picture with some fans where they were all sticking up their middle finger and he either told them not to tell their mothers or not to let their mothers see (there are different accounts). He also told them to give him a cuddle. (x/x/x/x)

A fan said Louis is a good judge who is honest and sassy, but never too rude, and that he gives great, helpful advice. (x)

A fan told Louis they loved his tracksuit and he gave them a thumbs up. (x)

At the beginning of the session, Louis said he really needed support from the audience. He said he wanted to know exactly how the audience was feeling about artists and that it would probably sway him. (x/x)

Louis was unsure about a contestant, but the audience chanted “SEAT! SEAT! SEAT!” so he decided to give them a chair. (x)

One contestant fell off the stage and Louis jumped out of his chair and ran over to make sure he was okay. Louis gave him a hug and gave him a seat. (x/x/x/x/x/x)

Louis made the :> face and was smiling a lot. (x/x/x)

At one point, Louis saw himself on the big screen and immediately looked serious. (x)

The audience started chanting “Off! Off! Off!” about a contestant and Louis said, “don’t listen to them, lad.” (x)

Louis fixed his fringe. (x)

Robbie kept shading Simon and Louis kept laughing. (x)

Louis pointed to a contestant’s friends when they cheered for him. (x)

Anthony received a standing ovation from the judges and Louis looked happy and proud. The crowd was chanting “safe seat!” and Louis gave him a seat. (x/x/x/x/x)

Ayda and Robbie praised Louis for all the support he’s given Anthony over the past year and Robbie said, “God bless you, Louis.” (x/x)

Louis gave a fan a crinkly eyed smile and waved to them. (x)

Louis swapped chairs with the first contestant he’d given a chair to because he wanted to let someone else through. (x/x)

Louis kept turning around to listen to the audience had to say. (x)

Louis pressed his golden buzzer for an Irish contestant. Apparently he tricked the boy because he asked if he could talk to him on the side and then ran for the buzzer. Louis jumped like a little kid when he pressed it and motioned for the contestant to come down. The contestant ran down and gave him a big hug. (x/x/x/x)

A contestant said to “be who you are, be different, stand out!” and Louis smiled. (x)

Louis took a picture with some fans and said “bring it in.” (x)

A fan asked Louis to sign something and he looked the fan in the eye and promised to sign it “on the way back, darling.” (x/x/x)

Whenever fans asked if they can sing one more song to impress him and earn a chair, Louis told them to fight and go for it. (x)

According to fans, Louis looked desperate for the session to finish. They could read in his face that he was conflicted and didn’t know what to do because the contestants were very good and he didn’t want to ruin anyone’s dreams. (x/x/x/x)

One contestant kept apologizing for not singing well and Louis said “don’t be sorry, don’t be sorry, just smash it.” (x/x)

A contestant said it was scary to perform in front of an audience and Louis said, “It’s terrifying, I relate.” (x)

Louis told one contestant that his tone was unbelievable and that when he was on the money, he was “fooking brilliant.” Louis said that even though he couldn’t give him a seat, he saw so much potential and wanted him to not give up and to come back. (x)

Louis gave a water bottle to a contestant. (x)

Louis stopped for the fan he’d told he’d return to earlier, signed something for her, and apologized for not stopping for long. She told him she was proud of him and that he was doing amazing and he said “thank you, darling.” (x/x)

Louis had the last contestant (who was really good) do a sing off with one of the earlier contestants to decide which would get the chair. (x/x/x)

Louis was really stressed and didn’t want to let people go and give seats to one and not the other. He kept bumping his head on the desk in despair. (x)

Louis only had kind words and polite opinions for everyone, even those he said no to, and he gave everyone a chance to sing more than one song. (x)

Louis talked to and hugged his six boys at the end. (x/x/x/x)
