if i like an adventure map or a youtube series i fold it into my oc lore as an in-universe work of fiction and unfortunately sometimes i have a "wouldn't it be funny if" snowball moment so now it's canon to my lore that one of my minecraft ocs is a fan of parkour civilization (in their universe it's a popular shonen anime) and a recurring embarrassing secret of theirs is that they very clearly run a blog dedicated to selfshipping with the parkour villain bc i have a weird thing where i like making my ocs selfshippers

i think my Whitepine theories are too meta.

like my theory that Clown is a red herring is based on the fact that everyone expects it to be him. of course people will think the recurring villain of scripted Minecraft content killed someone, that’s his thing. and i think that’s what Ivory-the-writer wants us to expect

also im in the "ivory's other videos are connected to whitepine in that they inform its themes and foreshadowed its creation but i do not think they are literally connected in the sense that whitepine is part of their timeline" camp. i feel like that stance matches up the most with what she said in her announcement video.

Tired of the antisemitic caricatures in Minecraft?

It's well known the villagers, illagers, and witches in Minecraft are stuck with an incredibly antisemitic design that despite hope, will probably never be changed. I've looked for a resource pack that only changed those elements (keeping the base game look), and was non-optifine friendly, but found none, so I made my own.

So I introduce Antisemitism Begone!

(Version 1.19 but should work for all versions that include the redesigned villagers) It's far from a perfect solution, but it satisfies my main personal annoyances (I am Jewish myself), and I'm certainly open to any improvements that can be made.

Unfortunately, there's many things I wish I could change but am unsure how (such as re-naming the golems to constructs, or changing how the Ominous Banner looks), but my knowledge only goes so far, and I'm pretty clueless when it comes to these things. So for now it's only visual elements that are changed. If I figure out how to do these things in the future I will certainly update it.

(Edit as of 10/9/22) I have figured out how to change the name from Golems to Constructs. Currently supported languages are English (US/UK), Spanish (Spain/Mexico) and German.

- monobrow removed + eye color changed to a less neon green - nose removed - mouth shortened + fixed texturing to fit

Iron Golem

- nose removed - monobrow removed + eyes changed to match that of the Villagers + flowers changed to red to match the poppies they drop Update 1: +/- Renamed to Iron Construct

Snow Golem

Wandering Trader:

would just like to note that i did not make this deliberately. those pressure plates are to put in the letters of the code, which is "perfect to speak", but the particular tick situation with this setup means that standing on a specific letter's pressure plate will put that letter in twice at least. i happened to notice what it said while i was looking for the "r" plate and i was like "haha pee"
