The world has changed but it was not always like that. Only due to the grand mirrors that is all over the city. People are either in hiding, some are being hunted down, or some being taken away into another world. However, it seems this world was just another mess. Right now, near a mirror, one was close holding a gun but he was seeing things before moving along.

The sound of beeping was heard in a sealed off room, a lower light seen as well showing someone resting on a table like bed. They seem to have been put to sleep for a while now but someone else was watching over them during this time. Given the situation of being locked down here. For now, the other named Hanoka remains guarding but hopes the other wakes up soon.

"Ender, did you see the news?" Asta was visiting her accountant to get ahead of tax season before it gets wild for his department. They've known each other since their college days, and while she wouldn't call him her best friend she's always found herself holding a soft spot for him.

They've chatted before, and there were group events where she gravitated to him because of his calming presence, especially when the rest of the group got rowdy or too excitable. This platonic history left her feeling comfortable enough to gush about her super crush during their appointment. The crush she's been going on and on about since he saved her when she fell out of a building a couple of years prior.

"He was so cool!" She gushed.

Pulling the car up to the sidewalk, he waited for his...escort to arrive. He had no idea why his friends decided that he needed to "cut loose" or something. Quite frankly, he would've preferred to just work and sleep and keep doing that ad infinitum. Ender sighs and rubs his eyes, the pattering of the rain outside hitting the roof of the car as he waits near the lamppost, like they said he should.
