Girin Fundraiser Update, May 2025

Total Girin familiars sold: 8707

Total profits raised for AAJC in May: $19,130.82 (after payment processor fees)

We'll provide an update for June's totals in early July, and July's totals in early August. When the fundraiser ends is when we will donate the total profits from the Girin familiar to AAJC and share the donation receipt with our community. Thank you so much for your generosity!

A sneak peek at our next Ancient Breed: Cirrus! Our next ancient breed will releasing this month before Greenskeeper Gathering, and will be available in the gem marketplace.

Released alongside this new dragon breed will be a full girin familiar that players will be able to acquire through a direct purchase for $2.50 USD. This familiar will be available for 90 days, after which it will be permanently retired. just came back to the game after being distracted for a while and wdym they never readded updated beastclan lore to the encyclopedia. its been TWO YEARS since they promised that. theyve added THREE dragon breeds since i left. youd think theyd have added at least one beastclan entry in that time, since the apology post says entries for new dragon breeds are about the same amount of info, but nothing. like what happened to decolonializing the site lore?

like, ill give them the benefit of the doubt. i just got back to the site, ive probably missed a lot. have there been other announcements or gameplay/lore updates since i left that explain the delay or fill the gap? because what im able to actually see right now comes off to me like theyve moved from the "conquer the natives" stage to the "wdym natives? no one ever lived here haha" stage.

Staff could post a site alert that says “Have a nice weekend!” and there would be 3 separate posts in the discussion forms trying to figure out what it could possibly mean. people would be counting the letters and dividing it by the number of words in the sentence to get a date for the next ancient. they would look at the time it was posted and multiply it by the staff member that posted it to get the ancient’s name. flip the sentence upside down and mirror it to get the genes. people would be frantically translating it into 17 different languages, playing them in reverse to squeeze every possible clue out of this mysterious message. 7 people would get banned. one person would guess the next ancient perfectly, but get ignored because their username started with a letter instead of a number. complete chaos. the mods would try to pop the hype bubble, but even those posts would be decoded and torn apart. the people are hungry. they are angry. “where is the wind ancient!” they cry. no one answers. just silence. the entire website is gone.
