Sorry everyone

Since the final state exams, one thing has become obvious. I’m very sorry to write that, but I’m not sure when or if I will become an active RPer again. I just can’t bring myself to come online and write, there are serious family problems I am dealing with and I just don’t seem to have the energy. Since these problems are long-lasting, I can’t promise anything. From today, I am going on a complete RP hiatus, I will just now and then post any new fan materials I create. I hope I will be able to come back once things are better (I will definitely make a post once that happens). Thank you for your patience and support throughout the exams and thesis writing and thank you that you took your time to follow this blog. Good luck to all of you!

I made it!

I proudly annnounce that I finally have that annoying Bc. which was constantly ruining my life for several past moths. I haven’t slept or eaten at all, but there it is, with mark “excellent”. 

And I’m off to bed, because my sleep deficit has been accumulating for several weeks.

Thank you for the encouragement. I’m terrified, but at least I’ll know the result tomorrow...and at least I’ll be able to relax for a while after several months of stress and learning. I’ll make sure to post tomorrow about how it went.

It’s getting closer

Well...tomorrow, from cca 8:00 GMT+1, I’ll be taking my final state examination + defending my Bachelor’s thesis. Please, cross your fingers for me. I’ll need that luck.

Sorry for not replying, as I wrote on this Tumblr before, my final state exam term is tomorrow, so I’m unable to do anything else. If you’re okay with it, I can reply once I’m done, or we can drop the thread completely, it’s up to you. I’m aware I’ve been inactive for some time and I apologize for that.

Dropping threads [February - May]

I’ll be dropping a few older threads that have died for one reason or another to focus on still active roleplays on this blog and my others. The following are the threads/unanswered starters I will be dropping and untracking.

I know I keep apologizing and that I’m not active at all. Long story short, my final state exams are coming up and until few days ago, I was busy with the exam period. On top of that, some rather serious family trouble showed up. If everything goes well, I’ll have my Bc. degree on June 18th. Please, cross your fingers for me. Thank you for your support.

A little better

I finally got those glasses and it seems they’re working. I’m still getting used to them and the migraines aren’t completely gone yet (truth be told, they only receded a little), but they’re slowly improving and I hope to be able to write something during the next week. Thanks everyone who hasn’t unfollowed this blog during these difficult times when I’m almost never around. You are the best.

An explanation

So yes, I said I would be online and would do replies. The problem is, last week I’ve been suffering from severe migraines and I have no idea what to do to make them stop. I think they’re caused by staring into the monitor too much during the time I wrote my thesis. Now whenever I’m looking at the monitor for a longer time, my vision starts to swim and I feel like throwing up. Have you experienced something like this? And do you have a suggestion what might help?

“Pasta?” she laughs. “Well, I’m glad to see at least some of my exorcist colleagues have priorities similar to mine. Even though I can’t complain about pasta I get here normally...Jerry is a genius.” She smiles at the young man, finding some of his wishes a little strange. Aino doesn’t understand why someone would want best quality clothes in their line of work - they would get destroyed anyway - so she catches on to something else he said. “Wine?” she raises an eyebrow. “I don’t really understand what makes it so good...I usually pick vodka if I want alcohol. Perhaps you could enlighten me?”

She can completely relate to his last statement. “Ah...a bathroom which no one can barge into...that is something I keep dreaming about every day.”

What would you do?

“Ahaha! You are much like me! If I were king I would spoil myself–pasta every hour, party all day, the best wine, wear the best clothes, and have everyone compliment me!”

Because he’s done so much to deserve at least ONE of those things!

“Nobody allowed it to just go and get weak like that,” she muttered angrily. If there was something she was proud of, it was her resistance to cold, and now her immune system betrayed her. “Yeah? Sometimes it seems like everyone but people around here get sick,” she sighed. “I mean, have you seen any of the exorcists getting sick? I haven’t seen you get sick. Why me?!” she growled.

“Ask..the Head Nurse?” she repeated slowly, pronouncing each syllable carefully. “You make it sound so easy.” She felt goosebumps on her arms; there were things scarier than the War and the Head Nurse definitely was one. But then again, Shepry’s smile was contagious. Aino managed to smile back weakly. “I guess you’re right. And if she drags me away, well...I can imagine at least one worse thing that could happen.” 

"You're gonna catch a cold."

(I took Shepry as the person who said the sentence since you didn’t specify, is it alright? Also thank you very much for sending this!)“Yeah, right,” the Finnish chuckled, shaking her head and sending raindrops in all directions. She was drenched from the rain outside. “I appreciate the concern, but don’t underestimate my health. Winters in my country are tough, so I have lots of practice.” That being said, she had to admit she felt her cheeks getting warmer - she was sure they weren’t as pale as usual, too - and her head felt weird. She took several uncertain steps towards her room. “I’ll be alright in the morning…” she muttered and flashed an uncharacteristic smile at Shepry before leaning into her door.

Getting back

Slowly, but surely. I just got back from Animefest, I submitted my thesis and I’m absolutely exhausted, but finally getting to relax. From today on, I’ll be getting back, slowly but surely. That is, until my state exams arrive. Thanks for your patience!

A little update from me

I have 53 000 signs out of 72 000. The date my thesis is due is on Thursday. Please, cross your fingers so I can finish it in time. After that, I’m leaving for Animefest on Friday (a Czech anime convention) to deliver a lecture with my friend hoples on Mary Sue characters...and then I’m hopefully back from the hiatus, until the final state exams arrive. 

Also, my back is sore from sitting near computer and I have headaches from staring at the screen all the time. I’m really looking forward to finishing this.

Hohoho! Thank you! Also, possible spoilers. 20. least favorite anime shipsHmm...I’m going to go with Kanda x Lenalee since I just don’t see the chemistry. I love them as the older brother - younger sister combo, but as a pair? Nope. Also Natsu x Lisanna from Fairy Tail. 21. anime that made you cry, whenCuriously, that was Fairy Tail. And it was when Juvia decided to hit the lacrima instead of injuring Cana during the Thunder Palace arc. Also No. 6 when Nezumi broke down when Shion killed a man. But there aren’t many animes that would make me cry. Mangas tend to do that more. 22. age you started watching anime/person who introduced you to it. Errr....hahaha...when I was younger, I really disliked anime. But then my friend from gymnasium (that would be secondary/grammar school, I guess? Czech school system is different, but I was 17 then) made me watch Ouran High School Host Club. I hate pink things. I usually dislike romantic stuff. I even hated the drawing style. Still, it somehow just drew me in, mostly by “God, this is so stupid, I don’t want to watch it, but what happens next?” So yeah...thanks, Foxka, for this long-lasting obsession. 23. unpopular character you loveSheryl Kamelott. Also, Nnoitra Jiruga from Bleach. He is amazing. But then again, my boyfriend always says I’m attracted to weird, creepy bastards which sounds funny since it’s coming from him. Wonder if he counts. 24. popular character you hate Mhm. I don’t think I actually hate any characters (perhaps except Tsuna from Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Lambo from the same series). I don’t like Lenalee much, but that’s mostly because I just don’t like her character type. I tend to dislike Naruto and Sakura, but then again I haven’t watched much of the series. I hope to get to it one day and change my opinion. I also disliked Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist, but only from the first anime. In manga and Brotherhood, she rocked. 25. anime you would recommend to someone who hates animeDepends on their personal style, but I would either recommend Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or shorter things like K Project or No. 6. 26. manga you have read all the was throughNot sure if I understand the question correctly, but if it’s about a manga I read with great enthusiasm, I’d go with 20th Century Boys. That was one of the most powerful reading experiences I've ever had. 27. anime you plan to watch in the future The two animes I’m planning to watch after the state exams are Psycho Pass and Darker than Black. I’m really looking forward to them.28. most upsetting moment in anime, whyI guess that would be when Priscilla cut off Teresa’s head right in front of Claire in Claymore.
