No, this was before the incident.
I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way but Europe is kinda like a miniature America. All the landscapes and trees and stuff are SMALL, they're little versions of the stuff we got going on over here. Even your big things, like the alps, are so cute. You could put a fun roller coaster up there and make it a little ride for the kids.

I actually asked about this but the queen said no.

Silent Hill kinda strikes me as the anti-cosmic horror. Cosmic horror is all about how insignificant and meaningless you are compared to these unknowable forces and entities before whom concepts like good and evil are meaningless. In Silent Hill, however, the unknowable force is deeply interested in you and you personal problems and has a sense of morality and this is a very bad thing for you.

if the massive anime space explosion/shot that becomes a miniature star doesn't have the little ding before the actual explosion then what's even the point

I want to talk about how WRONG the fandom has misrepresented Earth 42, even in the short time it was on the screen. Not just Miles G (we talk about him enough), but every character from here and the universe as a whole. Earth 42 is not just an "evil and creepy" place, it has a full-fledged LORE, with Sinister Six taking over the city.
And almost every character on Earth 42 stoops to the level of "scary gangsters." Except for Rio - 42Rio and her influence on the upbringing of the child, which is clearly shown through the way he talks, are forgotten altogether.
Aaron is characterized as an "evil uncle" who walks around the city angrily and teaches Miles some bad things (believe me, I've seen too much of this, to the point of headcanons about Aaron abusing his own nephew).
Miles G suddenly becomes a toxic boyfriend instead of a traumatized child.
And Earth 42 itself, there is nothing but fires in the minds of many fans.
I could go on for hours about how Aaron and Rio can serve as examples of how traumatic events affect the psyche of an ADULT.
I could write rants about how Miles G is a perfect product of his environment in both positive and negative ways, as well as he's good at following and breaking them at the same time.
I could talk about how complex Earth 42 is, its rules, politics, customs, norms.
But no one but me will read this, right?

Going back over the Spot's version of his backstory and I'm really seeing a lot of victim mentality.
Spot was a scientist working on the collider, for Kingpin. From what we saw we know he worked closely with Olivia Octavius. I don't know how closely he worked with them, but there's a good chance that he knew that they weren't good people and that the project they were working on was pretty damn dangerous.
Him getting hit by a bagel, while funny in the context of his tragic backstory, really skips over the fact that he was one of the many scientists WHO PULLED OUT A LASER GUN TO SHOOT AT SPIDER-MAN. You do not get to go "He hit me with a Bagel! 😭" because it was one of only time you were in the same fucking room together.
As for the big one, dude, everyone else had gotten out of the collider room except for you. You stayed there of your own volition to collect whatever dark matter/energy was flying around the room and paid the price for acting like a moron.
I will give Spot this, someone who's unwilling to take responsibility for their actions and is only trying to make things worse for everyone does make a pretty good nemesis for Spider-Man, the paragon of responsibility.
