I still consider Dirty Dancing one of the best movies of all times, plus one of the best movie about dance.  Screen chemestry between Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze is remarkable. This rare video of there first test together, a great example of how two partners have to trust and feel each other.

Just recently I run against this beautiful video, starring Maria Kochetkova. It’s very authentic, and gives me a throwback to White Nights film starring Mikhail Baryshnikov, I don’t know why. Maybe because of these eighties grains and synth sounds. Anyway, I’m fascinated by this collaboration of these two different dance characters, one – perfectly technical, other one – distinctive in a child way, by Dev Hynes.

So, universe has a tricky sense of humor. Being torn apart between duty and passion, I suddenly hurt my knee during one of the rehearsals and drop off training routine. Thanks, universe, I got your point! That triggered in me a very vivid feeling of what my essence is, my air, by being.  Whatever happens in my life, I’m always with you, the Dance. Having some rest now, I feel need in some space for my vibrations.
