@the-delicate-disaster I spent 2 hours in capcut thanks to a sudden interest in making edits (Thanks, ADHD). I created this edit of our babies, Ramona (she/her) and Creed Dalkon (he/him). Our queer platonic soulmates we had before we realized our own relationship mirrored theirs. Ramona loves Creed, and Creed loves Ramona. I made this silly edit in the hopes of putting a smile on my partner's face while he is hundreds of miles away temporarily, and I hope it works the same way Ramona and Creed's letters do in game when they are apart. I twisted my ankle back on the 13th of March stopping a student from falling head first and was out of work until the beginning of May on worker’s comp. I was cleared to return on May 5th, but they’re penalizing my May paycheck for the entirety of April during which I was out on medical leave. This is leaving me with only $700 this paycheck. it's kind of sad that we don't really do custom ringtones anymore. most people just stick with the default list that comes with your phone, if they change it at all. if they're even aware they can change it at all. like yeah, people letting their phones ring in public is obnoxious, but wouldn't it be a little less obnoxious if it was something funny? or personal? people used to change the text tone of every contact so every time they got a text they knew who it was just from the sound. isn't that sweet? isn't that nice? don't you miss it? don't you want to scream when you hear that stupid apple pa-Ting!??? we could have a chorus of awoogas and clips of people's favorite songs and recordings saying '(blank) IS CALLING, WARNING, (blank) IS CALLING' and all things considered i would prefer that over pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, pa-Ting!, whistle whistle, pa-Ting!

anyway im going to change my ringtone to the oldschool skype call sound and nobody will ever hear it because my phone is always on silent but i'll know. i'll know

I think my favorite single instant in midnight mass is when bev comes in and sees that pruitt has killed and totally drinked joe and is huddling in the corner covered in blood and she springs into cover up mode like "right um so we need to get you cleaned up and to the church" and pruitt, in the voice of a man who has been awake for thirty-six hours, says "yeah, here's the thing" and briefly puts his hand in a sunbeam to demonstrate the burning, and bev just sighs and goes "lord lord lord" while he kinda shifts in place and groans. real "this might as well happen" energy. yeah, sure, he burns in the sun now. fuck it. that's probably normal.
