Zoids/Digimon: Agumon

Aha-HA! I bet ya’ll forgot/didn’t know I can actually draw a serviceable mech!

Yeah, I got bored so ya’ll get a doodle of a mash-up/crossover thingy that I’ve been thinking of. I won’t be writing it but I figured doodling some digimon as zoids would be fun. Maybe I’ll even do some doodles for the reverse, where zoids get turned into digimon! That’d be fun.

Blotting Out The Stars

I wanted to see if I could show off the fact that Void Wolf kinda looks 2D in a shaded environment. I think it would look better if I had added another living creature rather than just a background.

I don’t see a reason not to give her a ref, so here she is The Void Wolf.

She’s a lot of fun to draw because there’s no lines, no shading either. If the light doesn’t come from her own drool/slime/what-have-you her coat just absorbs it. She’s a walking black hole.

She eats gods. Good or evil and everything in between. A god is a god is a god, even when they’re called a devil.

She likes people though, because people give her scratches behind the ears and ask her ‘Who’s a good girl?’ and then it turns out it’s HER! She’s the good girl!

This looks better than I expected it to! Woo! The void wolf is slowly becoming an almost character.

They just want to be petted... and maybe also eat a god or two, but that can wait until after the pets!

I’ve had problems with trying to upload this picture places all goddamn day long and the saturation’s different between my desktop and laptop monitors and I don’t know which is correct and I’m DONE, but I fucking love how the background came out in any saturation so fuck the universe’s weird fucking vendetta against my art ENJOY.

I got bored so I randomly designed two new characters. This is what I do with the skill of art that I’ve honed over the past two and a half decades... I design random anime characters.

Was gonna just draw a horse, then I decided it’d be a unicorn instead. I managed to resist adding wings to her at the last second.

Anywho have a unicorn who’s about to fuck somebody up.

Was feeling in a sorta Zoids mood, so I took a stab at redesigning an old fanmade zoid I came up with oooooo probably 2013~ish? Don’t know and it’d take forever to look it up. It’s called the Stealth Ferret and you can probably tell I started getting lazy after I drew the shoulders. It’s been a long time since I drew a mech and I don’t have the patience I once did, but I might finish this up some other time.

“You go first,” Al pushes him in front. “You’re the surprise for Winry after all.”

He’s up to something. Ed gives him a suspicious glare but trudges on ahead anyway. The worst it’s likely to be is a bucket of cold water to the head. As he gets closer to the door he notices the mistletoe hanging over it and rolls his eyes. Of course, Mei’s here and with her little crush on Al, she wouldn’t pass up the chance. If Ed goes in first then Al can probably avoid it. Ed sighs as the door starts to open. Then he freezes, as he registers who’s standing in the doorway grinning at him for only a moment before Ed is nearly bowled over by Ling’s enthusiastic tackle and is left speechless after the kiss. Ling grins at him, obviously triumphant at having flustered him. “Surprise!”

Irritated, Ed grabs his face and pulls him back down for another kiss, then growls, “Oh my god, I hate you.”

Ling laughs. “I missed you too.”

A Silver Lining Spilling Over

Okay, I’m going to admit that I’m posting this here because this PNG is literally the only remaining evidence that I finished this picture. I still have the sketch sure, but everything from the lineart to the finishing touches is lost to the ether. I exported the finished product and went to save and when I did the program crashed.

I could’ve saved the layers if I’d been smart but I wasn’t and they’re all gone. The only lucky thing is that the whole file didn’t corrupt from the crash. So the other sketches and finished pics on that canvas are safe.
