My favorite Fire Emblem: Fates lore trivia is that the Rainbow Sage's dragon form is sneakily depicted, in game, on the Ink Painting scroll and that it's a giant, flying, BEAUTIFUL IRIDESCENT SERPENT.

No wonder the people of Notre-Sagesse worshipped that (?). If I were some random person in Fates and I saw a giant, sparkling rainbow serpent coming down from the clouds, I'd believe its gospel too.

Back with another conquest rant! So I’ve noticed how no one’s mentioned about this yet, but can we talk about how Corrin’s literally gaslighting Takumi in this scene? He’s literally blaming Takumi for the fight and claiming if Takumi just surrenders and “talks things out” the war will end peacefully. I’m going to steal a quote from my fan fiction. Corrin’s basically saying

“Wow ok hater. If you’d just have a reasonable discussion my totally fair ruler of a dad would end this war peacefully even though we keep launching unprovoked attacks on you.”

Corrin’s an idiot in conquest but even they should be smart enough to know by now that Garon’s not going to end this peacefully. Also it’s hypocritical for them to say that when they’re literally destroying Hoshido and Elise is excusing Corrin’s terrible actions.. even though they literally betrayed Hoshido.
