UPDATE ON THE TAKEDOWN ACT 4/7/2025

I have been informed that the House is going to have a committee hearing (energy and commerce committee) on the Take It Down Act. This is a bill that Trump has pushed hard to get passed so that he can abuse it and use it to take down social media posts criticizing him. Its another mass censorship tool disguised as "protecting kids".

Fight for the Future has provided both an explanation for why this bill is extremely dangerous, as well as a call script and direct link to your lawmakers! They couldnt make it easier. Its here:

2016 in a nutshell

I have a question, are Supreme Deity and Demon King creators of their own clans or they are their leaders? Since I read manga I remember the quote stated that Demon King conquered Demon Realm.

I love to imagine that back then there was fight for DK status between demon lords (my hc but those are the highest ranked demons like Cusack, Chandler, Meliodas and Zeldris)

In my mind, the Supreme Deity and Demon King are kind of both the creators and leaders of their clans in different ways. They were both created by Chaos at the beginning, as in the original lore, and were both essentially leaders of different parts of the Goddess clan, with the Deity being THE primary leader. It's still a little fuzzy right now, but essentially they created their own factions of the Goddesses, though I'm not sure the Demon King at that time had the power to make them, if that makes sense.

With the way I have it planned, there wasn't too much of a fight for status of Demon King; Zeldris wasn't born until a few thousand years after the Fall, Cusack and Chandler were pretty newly separated from having originally been one being and were reeling from that, and DK (he'll have a name at some point) was also left in a post-Fall shock state. Really, Meliodas, fueled by rage (as he always is) at the Fall and the Goddesses is the one who stepped at the time and got the new clan to rally behind him - the only reason he wasn't Demon King at that point is because he had no interest in it and instead allowed his father to take up the title. And then everyone that rallied behind Meliodas at first also pledged allegience to the new Demon King as soon as Meliodas himself did.

Essentially: while everyone was in shock, Meliodas studied the blade.

Long day. The size, speed, and chaos of the last 10 days of the second Trump administration has been calculated and intentional. They have a big pile of abhorrent ideas which they’ve selected from the Project 2025 menu, and they’ve decided to front-load their release over the earliest of these first 100 days. Doesn’t matter that many will be struck down in the courts or overturned later. The point is that 1) the disorder and confusion will scatter the dissenters and make it hard for them to focus criticism on any single policy, 2) some of what they’re throwing at the wall will stick and become semi-permanent so long as the next Democratic administration lets it, 3) whether they win or lose, they succeed in weakening the federal government in a way that makes it harder for any future leaders to accomplish anything at all, strengthening the relative political power of the private sector.

They want you demoralized and to feel like it’s hopeless, but it’s only hopeless if you let them convince you it is. Rest well, stay informed, and take care of yourself during the fights ahead. These four years will be a marathon not a sprint
